    HID kit

Im looking for a set from eBay for around £40 if anybody is kind enough to post up a link to any they have ordered for this price. I dont just want to search myself, and order some that nobody has used on here, and find there crap. 6000K, 35W, 9005. Cheers.
  6. Im looking into getting a Brake Master Cylinder Stopped for my N/a (although arent they the same for N/A and TT?) Cheapest ive found it about £60 from eBay, anybody know if there are any cheaper, or does anybody have a used one they dont need anymore? Cheers, Ash.
  7. Thats some bad engineering lol. Usually the bar which goes up and down has a pressure sensitive rubber strip along the bottom and it should then retract when it hits something (ie, the car roof), and in this case, the bollards should retract too. Obviously a cheapo from eBay
  8. I didnt know HId's had to be CANBUS compatible, i thought that stuff was just on newer cars?
  9. I got sent 8000K by accident from Knigh Racer, i ordered 6000K. And the 8000K are too blue for me so i sent them back, ordering 6000K from eBay soon.
  10. Ok good idea lol, ill look at mounting mine there when they arrive, cheers.
  11. Jevansio; i like how youve mounted your HID Ballast, but how is it secured down, as i cant see the bracket for it?

    HID's and Supra

Just found this: Question: What about using HIDs with alarms that flash the headlights? Answer: General concensus is that flashing your HIDs, alarms flashing your HIDs, turning your HIDs on and off in short periods reduces bulb life and damages your ballast. According to research, turning HIDs on and off more than 3 times per hour reduces bulb life.
  13. Just been checking out the Supra's headlight arrangement, as ive ordered some HID's. I have noticed that when you flash the headlights, the main beam AND the dipped beams come on. Surely flashing the HID's which i will be putting in my dipped beams will damage them as they are not fully warmed up within the short amount of time that they are on? Anybody had any issues with this? Cheers, Ash.
  14. Are you on O2? If so, they do BlueBook, if you are signed up to this then it automatically saved all of your sent and received texts on your account on the O2 website. If your not yet signed up it may be worth doing incase you want to print another lot of texts out in a few months, that is if your on O2.
  15. I want a re-trim of my standard front seats with black leather, with the Supra logo in white written just under the head rest. Am i right in thinking about £400 to do this? The Punisher - have you considered getting them re-trimmed?
  16. The song of the year 2009 for me has to be Tinchy Stryder Ft Amelle - I Will Never Leave You: And a classic is Run DMC Vs Jason Nevins - Its Like That: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3lTHp1kqBCY
  17. Not sure what blackjax is Scott, all it has is a Toad Thatcham 1 Alarm and Immob with anti-hijack self locking. Anyway ive been having a play today and managed to mechanically disable the child lock on the passenger side, so it now opens with one pull like the drivers side. I know it a safety feature, but i never have kids in the car, and like i said above, it will prevent people from snapping the handle off now when trying to get out the car. By the way when i say "mechanically disable" i actually mean, find an old piece of plastic, and stick it in the handle internals so it latches onto the lock button, and pushes it open as the handle is pulled.
  18. Yeah Xenon/HID Kits as the links show, i just class them as Xenon bulbs/HID kits.
  19. Ok next on my list is xenon bulbs, but im not sure what to go for. 35W or 55W? Knight Racer 35W or 55W (9005 for my JSpec dipped beams) http://www.knightracer.com/xenon.htm Or HIDS4U 35W or 55W http://www.hids4u.co.uk/hb3-9005-xenon-hid-conversion-kits-c-17.html Hmm...
  20. New shape Honda Civics have really bright, smack in the face, boom boom pow front fog lights.
  21. Isnt it so you know where to position them when you change the cambelt.
  22. Whaaaat the fcuk! Do you have to replace your rear bumper every month
  23. Yeah i got this anti-hijack feature fitted with my alarm system. Pretty handy and keeps nob heads out of your car, although i would prefer it if the door didn't unlock when the engine is turned off, because sometimes for example, when i have a KFC drive through, i go into the carpark, turn the engine off (doors unlock) and i eat my food. Its usually not until half way though im eating that i realise the doors are unlocked. Maybe im just too concious about it, but i always like the doors locked.
  24. Yeah its probably belt driven off the aux belt like on the Supra.
  25. Nope sorry i dont know where the water pump on an Escort is, worth a look on google though maybe. What year and engine is it?
