  1. Ok no probs. I would firstly check if the delimiter is actually wired into the ECU by pulling the passenger footwel carpet back, taking the ECU plastic cover off, and looking for a single wire going into the ECU. If it has been connected it could just have a loose connection hence you having intermittent delimitering.
  2. Anybody know if i bought these, could i put the original mirror covers i have on my car now on these so i dont have to spray them white?
  3. That sounds like a good price, ill probably be getting one of these when you resume trading
  4. Well yeah if it was a sharp stop then it will of been the limiter, but when you said "sorta lost power" i thought you meant it just slowed down kind of lol. I bought my car with the delimiter not actually wired into the ECU and for some reason it DID delimit the car sometimes, and for other times it limited it, was kind of scary not knowing wether to expect the sharp stop or not.
  5. I know that the limiter really hits you hard when you hit it. From taking my N/A upto 112mph before i had it de-limited, when you get there it throws you forwards in your seat lol. So from what your describing i wouldnt say it was the limiter.
  6. When im working on my car and want the radio on, and the door open, i tape up the little switch on the door sill so it thinks the doors shut and stops the bong. However i may consider taking the fuse out soon.
  7. I feel the same as you about getting mine resprayed. I definately wont have it done until i have a second car and it can be garaged every day/night.
  8. The only thing different to what i mentioned in my previous post is, the hazard swtich DOES light up with the lights on, however, it doesnt flash with the indicators (i was sure that it did, but tried it last night, and i doesnt, but its no biggy).
  9. I presume this is what we are talking about, just to clear it up lol. Here is the bulb holder from the top of the hazard button unit (green): The bulb connections/holder from the top: And the bulb, which is built into the holder, It has a green base and is quite small as you can see from the pic: Hope this helps you find the right bulb you need, and also clear up if Toyota did actually change their hazard swtich sometime during production of the Supraaa.
  10. Im also after a new handbrake cover, and steering wheel - both OEM, but like you said jackso11, it will cost a lot.
  11. Toyota must, for some strange reason, have different Hazard switches, because mine definately does have a bulb, and it definately lights up lol.
  12. Cheers AlexM, it doesnt have an ABS unit, so no ABS lol.
  13. ok sounds gd, can i still have a pic of the handle part please.
  14. Any pics of the quality of it mate, ie how much it has worn, or is that what you mean above.. youve never used it? If its good quality can i take it please, im assuming it will fit n/a jspec.
  15. Me too, ive posted a few times about this, but no difinitive answers. I had a go at trying to get the handle part off last night, but it wasnt going anywhere.
  16. There is an ABS box behind the dash, but i always assumed that the word 'ABS' printed on the plastic box was what the plastic was made from lol: ABS, Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene ABS is a "polymericed alloy" of the tree materials acrylonitrile, butadiene and styrene. The material is located under the group styrene plastic. Styrene plastics are in volume one of the most used plastics.
  17. Is there any way if i can tell if my car has ABS? Its a 1994 JSpec N/A. Ive read a few n/a's do have it and a few dont, but how do you know lol. There is no ABS light when i turn the ignition on, but this is because there is no bulb in the holder for the ABS. Is there any other way i can check, without having to put a bulb in the ABS holder. Cheers, Ash.
  18. The HID kit arrived, and they are great! Well worth the money. The only thing is that they didnt come with the ballast mounting brackets, instead they came with 2 large sticky pads, but they are really sticky, so they do the job. I also cable tied the ballasts in, just in case, but yeah i recommend them.
  19. yeah... neeer neeer Saying that, when i bought the car, it had no bulb in the holder, so i just bought one and put it in. Maybe for some strange reason Toyota made the bulb holder, but didnt put the bulbs in lol.
  20. Well my hazard button illuminates when the lights are on... and then flashes with the indicators when the button is pressed.
  21. Well all of the rest of my buttons are white, its just these main buttons which are yellow. Looks great at night because ive given it a bit of blue LED conversionness, but in the day when the LED's arent on, its looks old and faded.
  22. Yeah its a bulb, not sure exactly what sort though. Just take the piece of dash off which hold the button cluster bit in, and the bulb holder has a cross on it, just get a screwdriver on that and the bulb and holder will come out.
  23. http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_J_1994_TOYOTA_SUPRA_JZA80-ALMVF_8715.html Here they are on ToyoDIY, but when they are all added up, suppose they will cost a bit for what they are. I totaled them up to $67.79, about £45 for the ten buttons.
