I like the sound of the exhaust on my n/a. Was fitted by the previous owner, but has a full system with single decat. Sounds sweeeet. Im not sure if its loud loud though, i wouldnt say it was quiet, but i wouldnt say it was mega loud. Just about right i think.

I just stick my Supra as close to the door as i can get it too, obviously not in any reserved spots for disabled etc, but touch wood up to now ive had no dents or scrapes, and as somebody told me the other week, its a white car, so if it gets scraped then just get the tip-ex out lol. (i think thats how you spell tip-ex/tipex/tippex/tip-pex. How do you spell tippex????

Is that black number plate surround thing with the 'fins' in it a standard Toyota fitment. Ive seen them on some Supra's but never known what they do? Are they just simply number plate surrounds?

I took my spoiler off a few weeks ago to sort out a leak, and it hardly weighs anything! I was really surprised at how light it was.

If it helps anybody i have just wired up my aerial so its totally manually operated from a 3 way toggle switch wether the ignition/headunit is on or off, totally flexible! I only did this because my antenna relay box seems to have broken, so i just bought i 3 way 2 pole toggle switch, stuck in it one of the switch blanking plates, and wired it up using the live and neutral from the antenna relay plug, and the green and red wires which go to the aerial (red is up, green is down). Let me know if you want more instructions if you are interested. The pic shows the switch:

Right, cheers for the replies, So would you say this needs connecting up? I might try and get an orginal pipe off somebody if there are any so i can re-attach it and put my mind at rest.

Missile - I just wanted to get rid of the original black/blue faded speaker covers, so i thought white would look better, to match the shell. benkei - ill get onto it. Chris - Yeah i prefer the original look, and i really dunno why i blank the plates out, just always have, so its second nature now lol.

I think my car is doing this too, it idles at about 400/500rpm, and the steering wheel shakes slightly and the engine note goes really low, although it doesnt sound like its going to stall, sounds pretty stable. What is the normal idling rmp on a n/a manual when the engine is warmed up? Cheers, Ash.

Yeah cheers for the replies, Guess ill have to accept its not a Blitz. Still sounds good to me though, ill have to listen to some Blitz's on YouTube or something like that.

Ok then, so its likely that its not a Blitz, and the guy i bought it off has lied about what is on it. I dont see why he had to lie though, i would of taken it if it had the orginal exhaust. Just annoys me because ive told people it has a Blitz and now it doesnt so theyll think im trying to make out its something its not. Grrrrr lol.
