I press mine randomly when driving down the road for some reason, never done it in any car, but theres something nice about a Supra horn lol

Just wandering if my Supras passenger seatbelt is supposed to slightly tighten when the ignition is turned off? The drivers one doesn't do it, and ive never heard of it before, strange?

Just been working it out, and im going to re-carpet all of my Supra. To get rid of the old smell, and have some more luxury in the car. Came to about £100 for 6sq metres of underlay and 6 sq metres of thick pile black carpet, and adhesive spray. I dont think ill need 6sq metres, but worth a thought if you want a new carpet and dont mind spending a bit. And fitting it too.

Yeah i could but by the time ive turned it on, they've rubbed their hands all over my nice white clean speaker pod covers, and i dont want any marks on it lol. Just been to look and even the drivers window switch LED doesnt come on with the lights, thats just when the ignition is on. The only thing ive got with the lights are the dial cluster, and the hazard warning light button, so im going to have to run cables through the door hinge thing.

Ive never seen any, but im going out now to have a look for anything.

Yeah my lock is illuminated, and i think i will use the drivers window switch supply for the drivers side handle. However, im just stuck for the passenger side without having to run new cables through the door cable route hinge thing. I would power off the window power/speakers, but i only want them to come on when the lights are on. Hmmm

After every other person who gets into my car and wants to get out says "wheres the door handle" when its dark, i have decided to order some blue LED bulbs and holders to drill and mount inside the two interior door handles. Im now trying to think where to pick up the 12V supply so that they come on when the lights are turned on. I had the idea of connecting the drivers side to the drivers window switch LED, but obviously the passenger side doesn't have one. Ive seen a pic of somebody elses car who has done this, if you are reading this can you tell me where you picked up your 12V please. Or if anybody else has any ideas please say Cheers, Ash.

Ok, so after taking my wheels off about 6 times in the past few months doing various bits to the brakes/arches/general stuff, i have just about ruined the spray job which the last owner did (basically he changed the spokes from black to white, but only used spray paint) with the wheel wrench thing. I was wandering two things to try and stop this: 1) Is it possible to power-coat just the spoke on the wheels, or can you only get the whole wheel powder-coated. 2) A mate from college told me about getting a "Soft Socket" to protect the alloys when you are tightening/loosening the wheel nuts. I believe they are a normal socket, but with a nylon coating. Has anybody used these, or knows where to get one? Cheers, Ash.

Abflug have put a really bad image in my head since i have started in the Supra scene. What does everybody else think of Abflug, particularly these things?

I had this on my 94 NA Manual. I dont know if this was the problem, but it hasnt done it since. The perious owner had wired up a speedo converter and a de-limiter. However, when i test drove the car to see if it was actually de-limited, it wasn't. I took the speedo cluster out, and found that the wire which goes to the ECU from the de-limiter box had not been connected. So i simply connected this to the ECU. And at the same time, noticed that my car no longer idles low. Worth a look to see if yours is wired up right maybe. But i cant really see how this would affect the revs tbh.

Mine ends in LUX, Was thinking about a private plate with ASH, but there too much, and i like the word LUX, so its all good When i was looking into buying a Supra, i saw a cheap one on PistonHeads which said VAJ, but the plate put me off lol.

Have you got a starter? I think i need one, every so often when i start my car, it makes like a strange noise, it sounds like its got asthma i suppose. Then if i turn the key back to off and back on again, the car starts. Could this be the starter bushes? Sorry about the description of the noise, but i dont know how to describe it. Cheers.

My boot is getting soaked everytime it rains, im now in need of the rear window seal, if anybody knows where from. If i got one from Toyota would they fit it too, because i think i can remember the dealer saying they dont fit window seals? Cheers, Ash.

Hi all, Just wanting a bit of adivce on tyres for the Supra. I have 18x9.5" wheels on the car (rear) and when i bought it, it had 275/35/18 tyres on. I just want to know if the width of the tyre is changable when i need some more. Could i drop down to 265's for example? Cheers. Ash.
