looks cool mate -
Hi all. Ok I doubt this hasn't ever been asked. Recently my horn has started playing up. It would go off for for about 5 seconds every 7 hours or so. So I took them off until I had time to sort the issue. I came to have a proper look today. And there wired up via a relay (deffo not a factory thing) Looks almost like a complete bodge. One of the pins on the relay was 1/2 snapped so I thought that would be the issue. After fitting a new one the same thing happened again with it going off on its own. So I left just one on there. Tested it works. So I though that is that tidy up some wiring, mount the relay jobs a gooden. I poped out 1/2 hour or so later and as I was going up a bypass I pushed the horn to properly test. It went off then a second or 2 later still holing it (while driving) it coughed then died. No horn at all now.. So maybe as I was running 1 horn to much power was going to it an blew it? I don't know but my MOT is in a month or 2 so I am going to need to sort it out. Anyone have any ideas? And I'm after a digram of the horn wiring loom to get it back to what it should be. Thanks

Never really thought about it mate. But if its possible I may look into doing that for my next dash thing. It does tilt a bit though when turned on so it may cause problems, unless I turn off the tilt but I like it facing me No mate its an extra large Richbrook one over the handbrake. With some tucking and stretching it went on Yes mate the screen us designed for the Syvecs ECU Thanks bud but its it gunmetal. Its the EXACT colour as my wheels I think its just because the sun was beaming though the rear window, maybe making it look lighter.

Hay all. Ok something I was quite excited about doing during my week off. I wanted to have my car a little less Blue as I now have gun metal grey alloys and my trial rear splitter is gunmetal grey. The dash panels were starting to look a little scruffy and didn't match the new shade of blue on the outside of the car. I also wanted to relocate my Syvecs screen and is was looking bulky and out of place were it was over the clock. Soooo I came with an idea to fill up the clock hole, take out the fan above the heater controls and fill that up aswell so its completely flat below the mileage. Then cut out a square and make up a bracket to hold the Syvecs screen in the pannel so it looks a little more flush. Then get all the dash panels wrapped in gun metal grey to finish it off. And it turned out pretty nice TBH I'm dead happy with the new location of the screen so now the wiper stalk doesn't block some of the screen and it sits more flush. This is how it looked before: http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/452/20120301081509.jpg http://img854.imageshack.us/img854/1756/20120301081520.jpg http://img856.imageshack.us/img856/5200/20120301081540.jpg http://img718.imageshack.us/img718/6494/20120211143645.jpg And filling in the holes. I used a CD case and epoxy resin to stick it down an fill the gaps. I used wet and dry to smooth off all I could: http://img805.imageshack.us/img805/8210/20120418204922.jpg My mate Alex at AKS Tuning (new Motorsport company he has recently started) cutting the hole for me and making the bracket to hold the screen flush: http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/4548/20120419142614.jpg And after Chris at Ant Graphics wrapping it for me http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/9936/20120425190005.jpg http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/6725/20120425190107.jpg http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/8796/20120425190019.jpg http://img802.imageshack.us/img802/8909/20120425190026.jpg http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/1604/20120425190033.jpg http://img688.imageshack.us/img688/4359/20120425190045.jpg http://img848.imageshack.us/img848/8937/20120425190038.jpg Advanced Traction Control knob will be labled up next week http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/6269/20120425190341.jpg http://img825.imageshack.us/img825/8859/20120425190348.jpg Hope you all like it, I certainly do Thanks for looking Paul

rant Hose Pipe Ban. Why I Will Now Use More Water.

LOL at some of the comments. I happy to see people agreeing with me. A drought they say? Jesus Africa has a drought, not England that rains all the bloody time! Other countries must laugh at the stupid English public. Another example the recent fuel shortage, there was no strike, the public is the reason no were had fuel because people panicked! This kind of thing in the UK really gets to me and so many silly sods get sucked into it. I will not be using my house pipe as I live with my rents and farther says he doesn't want me to but agrees that me filling up buckets of water rather that a quick hose down will use more... But I will not adjust my life for only what has been said so the car will be washed with or without a hose pipe! If the water is low in my area manage it better. In the 27 years I have been alive I cant ever remember a hose pipe ban, this is the 1st. But is this is not the 1st time we had a little bit of late rain. God look at it realistically!!! -
Ok there's a hose pipe ban to save water. How stupid are these people to make this ban. So people will let there flower now die? People will let there cars stay dirty? Nope.... So I come to clean my car on my weekly basis. I can't use a hose pipe right? Well I will now rinse the car with a bucket of water which will use 4 times the amount of water compared to a controllable hose down. When I hose my car I use a technique to push off the shampoo and then the hose will be turned off straight away. Now I will have to carelessly tip water over it with a bucket. As I will now be carelessly tipping water onto my car I will have to be going back and forth filling up the bucket using 4 times the amount of water, which thousands of people will be doing. This goes for people watering there flowers, they will be going back and forth filling up there watering can. Rather than using just the right amount of water then turning off there hose! So many of these inconvenient derisions made buy companies and the government are retarded.. I can't believe the stupidity. Do they think people wont was there car no more, water there flowers no more? Jesus... EDIT!!! I think a few people have missed the point I'm making. I WONT be using more water on PERSPUSE but using more what as filling up buckets and poring water over my car to clear the shampoo will use more water than a quick hose down!!
