  1. In all honesty BPU is so cheap to do get it in 1 go mate. You will be more satisfied with BPU feeling that extra power rather than builing it up slowly. You can do decent BPU set up for about £1k. I think its only financially wise to build up a single turbo set up bit by bit as its mega money.. Paul offers a great BPU kit to make it easier http://whifbitzperformancetuning.co.uk/toyota-supra-performance-packs-garage-whifbitz-p-11430.html Regarding fuel pump I found my Walbro 255 most satisfactory and now I'm single I have gone for the 450 which is damn quiet..
  2. Yes mate the car has been preped bit by bit. I'm on syvecs, uprated cams and pulleys. RPS triple plate clutch, bigger brakes etc.. Oh I will be mate
  3. Thanks mate, its silly all these broken cars with people getting the GTR fever. GTR's will start to become more common than ants! Although on the plus side, it makes our Supras more unique. No mate this is the turbo he bought and didn't use due to wanting a quicker spool. It was going to so onto his Supra until he bought a GTR. But the wategates and manifold was from his set up.
  4. Thanks guys I'm awaiting a date from Ryan. I really messed him about unintentionally and I feel a total douche but hes still fine with re booking me in. What a top fella..
  5. Hay all. Ok finally got the car finished today. I need to do some exhaust modification but all is done and the car runs. Many bumps on the way with not having all the corrects parts but a massive thanks to Ryan G and Paul Whifin for the help and advise. Sorry on the lack of pictures towards the end of the build, I just didn't have time to take them. The spec: 6766 DBB Precision Turbo Whifbitz Twin Waste Gate Manifold Twin Trial Waste Gates With Screamers EGT Sensor All Gubins to complete Conversion Ok Turned up at my mates workshop, my 1st job was to remove bumper, inlet parts and headlights http://img715.imageshack.us/img715/7436/20120820103550.jpg My Next job was to fit the 450 fuel pump and remove the 255 http://img839.imageshack.us/img839/5164/20120820112025.jpg http://img443.imageshack.us/img443/5482/20120820112036.jpg Time for lunch and a sneaky pic of the car http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/1617/20120820141857.jpg Ok next thing I had to removed exhaust system http://img577.imageshack.us/img577/8864/20120820145036.jpg Time to start striping old turbo boost pipes and remove turbos http://img843.imageshack.us/img843/8475/20120820182346.jpg Me and Alex removed all the old oil lines and brackets for the old turbos http://img31.imageshack.us/img31/7105/20120820192745.jpg With the Whifbitz manifold in place time to fit new studs and see how the turbo looks http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/9903/20120820204124.jpg And with the turbo being able to support it self http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/3060/20120820204528.jpg While Alex was away for a few hours doing an wheel alignment I had to link up all vacuum pipes and get the little bits done here and there. http://img862.imageshack.us/img862/4148/20120822132447.jpg Exhaust on and screamers fitted. You can see the exhaust needs to be lifted higher. http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/2259/20120822160617.jpg http://img809.imageshack.us/img809/7858/20120822160627.jpg http://img823.imageshack.us/img823/5617/20120822161052.jpg I had to angle grind this bracket for the screamer to fit nicely http://img31.imageshack.us/img31/3102/20120822161113.jpg A shot of one of the wastgates http://img820.imageshack.us/img820/1627/20120822161121.jpg And Finally the finished product http://img109.imageshack.us/img109/2991/20120822171141.jpg A video of the 1st start up. 8. I have a pic heavy thread on the horizon for you pic lovers.. Me and my mate have worked very hard recently on the improvements on my Supra A sneak peak for you http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/9370/18063816.png http://img816.imageshack.us/img816/8601/77906810.jpg And thats all you get for now
  9. I'v used its a couple of times but under the instruction of Ryan over the phone. Its pretty clever stuff..
  10. T-CUT MY MAN!! I do alot of spraying and Lacquer always give a ruff finish. So the way to gloss it up is metallic t-cut. Comes out a treat. Be generous with the t-cut. Thank me later
  11. Looks like you will have to sell mate..
  12. MY BPU pulls away from a 911 Turbo.. My mate went on a lambo track day was was very disappointed as he has been in my Supra

    Assange

    Errrm, have I missed something?
  14. My mate that is a supplier says "Poor quality, bad customer service and he has broken one before"
  15. I hear to stay away from Spec
  16. headlight inserts could be cool. If you used the 3m stuff they would need lacquering to give the gloss look..
  17. Its bound to be something small and I wish not to alarm but its that sound its usually the turbos dying. From what I have read anyway. Never experienced it myself.
  18. Hi mate. I had the same issue just the other way around. Only thing I could come up with is the VSV being a little funny. And since I have gone TTC its never happened since. When the issue occurred before TTC there was no difference in performance just my turbos were fluttery and the BOV was VERY loud! lol Infact I posted a video a while back (notice the difference in sound):
