  7. This from last month this thread, my most recent one has the new gear box mount they have tested on my Supe..
  8. Super Pro I guess do that kinda thing mate...
  9. Thanks Kaan, there a right Biatch.. Turtleshead I'm near Bedford, vibra Technics are about 40 mins from me lol, were abouts are you?
  10. Dibbs unfortunately as its a double wastegate system its not the easiest to make the neatest as there needs to me more t-pieces and extra lines. There's still some work to be done and the pics don't do it much justice. But functionally there spot on. Phil. There is no price yet on the mount as there about to go into production. Small dull vibration on small revs while the vehicle is static, thats about it
  11. Hay all. Ok long day today working on the Supra again. Vibra-Technics came down today to test there uprated gear box mount on my car. And it fitted pretty damn well. So they will me developed and if anyone is interested in them let me know and AKS can get the ordered up for you. So first batch of pics is the gear box mount upgrade. Old Mount removed http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/1372/20121210102424.jpg Old mount VS new mount http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/4522/20121210102320.jpg http://img829.imageshack.us/img829/4982/20121210102326.jpg http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/2872/20121210102358.jpg New mount going in (spot on fit) http://img404.imageshack.us/img404/4378/20121210111903.jpg And all in and done, with nice clearances and a more solid gear change http://img189.imageshack.us/img189/734/20121210194837.jpg http://img835.imageshack.us/img835/8551/20121210112141.jpg Ok next job today was to replace the rubber vacuum wastegate lines with some braided one we made up ourself using aeroquip fittings. First up to fit on the threaded connectors supplied by Turbosmart to replace the push fit ones. http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/4494/20121210135041.jpg Alex at AKS make a great bracket to hold the boost solenoid http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/4235/20121210170452.jpg And its all starting to come together http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/616/20121210170501.jpg http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/1701/20121210202604.jpg And all done (excuse the dirty engine bay, this damn weather) http://img818.imageshack.us/img818/4968/20121210203007.jpg Ok for the last job of the day I wanted to relocate my aeromotive fuel pressure regulator. Ok, were to? I decided to remove an engine loom holder as this would be the ideal place. http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/2294/20121210173745.jpg Clever Alex whipped up this bracket (if anyone needs one let me know as he can make more) http://img827.imageshack.us/img827/3541/20121210174048.jpg And back to black http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/4818/20121210184724.jpg And after I fitted a longer fuel line to the fuel rail, bolted everything on. Finished Alexs bracket worked a treat! http://img705.imageshack.us/img705/7898/20121210190143.jpg So all in all, a productive day. Thanks for looking Paul
  12. Happened to me. The starter motor went. I would sometimes just get a clicking sound sometimes did it sometimes not, eventually it totally gave up the ghost. I managed to get a second hand one and all was fine after. Someone is selling of the supra parts and I remember seeing the starter motor in there.. Worth doing that 1st
  13. Only work on VW's now I feel TBH Skylines and Supra its about big spoke and not many of them.. 18"- 19" 5 - 6 spoke rims FTW
  14. Yep I had the same issue as this. There are 2 reasons its doing it and yes its a safty issue. 1. Your flooring it when the engine is still to cold.. OR (which is what kept happening to me) 2. Wast gate vacuum pipe has split somewhere... Your boost will spike, not enough fuel will be supplied, Syvecs will Shi! it self and cut all throttle use. If this happens on the road and you can't pull over, take it out of gear, turn the ignition off while rolling for 1 or 2 seconds turn the key to on then put it back in the correct gear, engine will then come back on and drive sensibly
  15. Thanks for the mention as always Graham. There are just to many TBH. I couldn't Justify who my top 3 favs are TBH
  16. I read somewhere that there was though of doing a supra/GTR joint day
  17. Yep my Trial rear I got last year was pretty dam good. Like any fiberglass bumper small trim here and there..
  18. Its pretty clever the syvecs traction control. I usually have mine off, then setting 1 on a wet day and then 5ish on the frosty nights..
