I made my old rims perfect again its hard work.. But this is the way I did it: Very course sandpaper to rub down the uneven surface. Then use 400 grit Then use 400 grit + water Then 800 grit then 800 grit + water Then 1200 grit Then 1200 grit + water Then 1500 grit + water Then 1500 grit + Maguires metal polish Then Maguires metal the hell out of that rim!! Prime the turbo is always adviseable mate..

I have the exact problem. I have a PT6766 with a whifbitz down pipe. I have a 3" v-band (which it should be) it sits flush but with force the down pipe will move..

I remember blocking alot of mine off when I fitted my single..

I have the triple plate and there's less noise that that, but i guess its because its a triple not a double..When moving I cant hear anything. Give it a drive and I bet you wont even hear it My RPS is a great feel, pretty much stock and is a-ok for a daily runner
