  1. As per title really. Do I access it via remove a bit of boot trim?
  2. Hey gang. After my recent mod of clear rear lens's I needed chrome amber bulbs But as my fog light isnt really red I may as well change that and use leds as well as the ambers. And while im at it make my reverse white led to. I have delt with an ebay company outside of ebay and they did all 4 7440 fit leds for £14 delivered and the outcome was great. Just my number plate lights to sort lol EDIT: THESE AMBER LEDS MAKE THE INDICATOR FLASH VERY FAST. I'M GOING TO HAVE TO SEND THEM BACK
  3. haha yer its coming out the externals aswell. This was a quick vid So I want get a proper one of the externals flaming
  4. Just a short video of the new result of an adjustment of my launch control map for a bit of fun
  5. Your Rad clamp is on the piss.. That needs to sit straight really. If its an after market bonnet with wont be 100% Try adjusting using the 4 bolts at the back of the bonnet. Theres 2 either side. Loosen all of them off but not so loose you can wiggle them just enough so you can slide the bonnet around but some small force. close the bonnet (but not shut) and spreading your arms across the bonnet 1 hand either side and slide it around till it looks better. Lift the bonnet, tighten the 4 bolts back up and properly shut to see it its better. Had to do that with mine as best I could.
  6. Mine is highly modified at 680BHP but using low revs travelling to work everyday (mainly town driving and a 15 min que every morning) I get avg 240mils a tank. If I do motorway about 310 miles a tank.
  7. Cheers guys. Well as its a clear lens I will need amber coloured l.e.d's So I was going to go for these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/140393520921?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  8. Cheers fellas Shame the clear rear lens didn't turn up quick enough lol
  9. haha yep. Thanks for the advice. It really was simple. I was super worried to do it as the lights are only a few years old. I had the oven just under 100 degrees so it was about 90. 15 - 20 mins it needed. YOU MUST HAVE IT LENS FACING DOWN, no instruction says this I didn't know this so on the 1st one the heat wasn't getting to the under part of the light making the glue not soft enough to split apart at the bottom (were the 3 tabs are). But have it on a towel so lined grill marks wont show. The 1st light took me an hour and half. From my tough time and lessons I learnt from doing the 1st one the second light was a breeze to so. Did it super quick. I didnt need to use any re-sealant as there was so much glue. Oh and with poping the amber lens out was mega easy. Most instructions say its hard. Just push the tabs in slowerly and they bend due to them being so hot and then once there out bend the old tabs back into position encase you want to re use them.
  10. Well I wasnt looking forward to doing this but once I completed the 1st one the 2nd light was a breeze. Oven had to be just under 90 degrees with the lens face down on a towel. Just got to wait for the 7440 fit l.e.d's to come through. Before pic: After pics (car is a bit filthy sorry): And a quick oven pic as I took one... Thanks Paul
  11. I was at an event Saturday and came across some nice pics that had been taken of my car.. Hope ya like :-) Thanks Paul
  12. Hay all. I need some chrome bulbs for the rear cluster as i have done the clear lens mod. Will these fit? Thanks http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=370394336382&alt=web
  13. Many years ago I had heckler convert my heater controls fitted up with blue l.e.d.s ( we all know the conversion) But recently I have felt a change is needed. Especially as the dash is painted blue and with the button indicators also blue theres alot of blue during the day. So I got my soldering on with my incredibly shaky hands and managed to get lots of white ones in now mixed with the blue including an additional white l.e.d behind the fan logo. Result came out ok for my rubbish soldering skills lol. And a Pic
