  1. Lol. Applied as usual when I spray anything. As soon as I put a thin coat on, it all wrinkled. The only way to remove the wrinkling was a heavy coat.
  2. I fully degreased at cleaned using brake cleaner!! I think its just naff spray.. That looks great.. PM'e
  3. Sent the e-mail guys It wont work while driving its meant to be for a launch control.. Vid of mine on my youtube channel (notice how it comes out the twin screamers at the front hehe )
  4. Hay all. I have brembo brakes and the disk mounts (could be call bell housings?) have gone all old and stained. So I thought its time to paint them and get them looking fresh. I have had an absolute nightmare. I spent the whole day doing one side.. I used the below spray and its come out all wrinkled when sprayed the to surface causing major time to get remotely right. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251643693614?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Being a fussy bugger this isnt good enough (pics attached below). The front came out nicer than the rear. But before I do the other side what is the best paint to use? And I will want to redo the rear that I have already done. Previous years I have done callipers with calliper paint and a bush and had no issues but as the disk mounts are smooth I dont want a rough finish. I'd love to get them re anodized but this is my daily runner and cant wait weeks for them back. So what paint should I use? What your best experience to get the smoothest finish? Thanks Paul Before: After with the nightmare paint:
  5. Send me you e-mail mate. I have that map on my launch control..
  6. I was just wondering what peoples options are on them. Back in 2002 is was the coolest thing to do and over the past 10 years it was the in un-coolest thing to do. I hear there coming back in.. I have never disliked them nor bothered fitting them. Share your opinions
  7. I had DBA disks before.. They were just fine. So if there cheaper than stock.. Go for them..
  8. God the LFA... Just sensational...
  9. Hay all me and the GF washed our cars today and took some pics.. We picked her MX5 up on Sunday and have some plans for it Here you go
  10. Thanks for the reply. I think I will give one of these a go
  11. haha yes it would not do it justice and will look better on the PS4 in this case..
  12. I can vary... I get on very well with my body work fella and I got mine for £1350 with trial rear fitting, smoothing it in and my skirts smoothed in..
  13. NOOOO TO LED REAR BULBS!!!! I tried at it doesn't work The indicators flash VERY quick and ended up buzzing. Now have chrome bulbs and the problem is sorted. The reverse LED is A LOT dimmer than the stock bulb (in dark couldn't even see were I was reversing) The only L.E.D thing that worked and I kept was the fog light. My thread from a few months back http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?320166-Fitted-leds-to-replace-stock-bulbs-Never-mind There is other way around it but the outcome with stock rear lights and having l.e.d.s just isn't worth it. And the onse I used just weren't as bright as bulbs
  14. i have no other stand to be on...
  15. Maybe.. Paul is extremely good with e-mail response..

  17. Ok thanks guys. There a great price. They do 2 different ones. A 2 row and 3 row. I assume the 3 row fit perfectly fine too?
  18. Anyone had any experience with them? Thanks
  19. Yer seen these ones on the bay http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/301364919535?nav=WATCHING_ACTIVE
  20. Thanks for the replied peps. Ive had these for about 3 years and this only just happened. to admit the hid in question, the balast is always getting wet due to the bonnet vent. will try and swap bulbs to see if that works..
  21. As per the title really. One side has gone super dim (left side in pic). Doesn't even make a beam on the road. Or is it just the bulb that needs replacing?
