  3. Hey peps. I was checking my cam cover to see if there was any oil residue between the head and it. There was a little so I went to tighten the cam cover bolts up. They seemed pretty loose but I noticed there was some sort of rubber that had stiffed from heat over the years and was perishing away from under the head of the bolt. Do the bolts have this rubber built in like some cars do or is it separate? Thanks Paul

  9. Typical the forum is down when I need it the most lol.. Good to see it all back up Ok today was an annoying day but I googled the crap out of it and I think I found my answer through other forums and websites ect. Today I moved my seat right back, and when I went to move it forward the non switch side jammed. Meaning I near on is was super difficult to drive the car back home. The motor still was clicking and trying to move the switch side forward. But no movement on the left. I found a plastic screw on the floor which I ended up finding out it came from the under the left side. I found out the left runs on a cog and the white plastic screw thing is part of that. Looks like I will need to take the seat out of the car to refit it. I also found out that the seat can be manually moved forward using a 10mm socket under the seat and 12mm the switch side. So My seat is in a derivable way. Has anyone else had this issue? The white screw: I think the screw goes here:

  12. Sky or HIC, when sky send my renewal HIC always beat then the 30 mins of calls go back and forth until one says they can't beat it. Usually HIC are the ones. So I end up remaining with Sky but cheaper than my renewal. I was 29, all mods declared and BHP. Car has agreed value of £18000 7+ years of NCB £550ish can't remember exactly. My renewal is up in June and I will be doing that again.. Regarding agreed value I had to send of all my receipts, pics of my car ect

    Europe

That's because hes the voice of a leader and no beating around the bush, he says, he does and get it done! Something of which our PM lacks, unless you are a fan of something like Fox hunting.. People will disagree with me but that's why he had over 8 mil votes and I know many people wanted to vote him but votes conservatives just so labor wouldn't win! During the election we always hear how parties will do this.... and make that better, but where would the money come from to do this? Taxes, but they wouldn't say. When Ukip were up and the expenses for the improving services like hospitals ect, Nigel Farage made it clear it would be pulling from the EU is were the money would come from and we will save BILLIONS!! about £118billion per year to be more accurate Out of the EU all way!!! Imagine that £118 billion going into schools and the emergency services, VAT could be lowered which UKIP wanted to do. Lets see Britain somewhat Britain again! And let our leaders decide what is best for the UK not some board of douchbags
  15. cheers fellas. Just going to enjoy it for a year or so now No further plans. Sorry Noz i dont know.. I would have looked were it goes if id had known yeaterday for you.. Im sure someone will know. I went for thr twin fan set up purely for look. lol
  16. Ok so today was the last of my modifications on the Supra before I aim for my next project. Its how I intended to finish the car after the inlet manifold. All that is left is general tidy up. So today I fitted: Whifbitz Pulley kit Whifbitz carbon engine covers SRD Twin Fan kit Polished Auto tensioner Polished mechman alternator V8 oil filter And lots of oil removal and cleaning..... I want to say a shout out to: Paul at whifbitz for his outstanding service and supplying me with the parts. Lee at SRD for all his help and advice with assisting me with the wiring even though I bough the fan kit used from a member. Rob Mitchell for his polishing skills and advice and Kaan for supplying me with a few goodies And finally one of my closest friends Alex that owns AKS tuning for letting me use his tools, workshop, his help and staying till midnight to help finish my car. So pics This is how the area on my Supra looked when I arrived at my mates workshop. With Alex busy and me being more than capable for the work ahead I was left to myself in part of the workshop to make a start. Coolant drained, fan shroud off and rad out Pulleys Removed and top engine cover off and coil pack cover removed. The fuse box had to come out as it was in the way of removing the shroud. The tension rod also came off and will stay off as I will be using the Auto tensioner. Now I had to get Alex to help here... Removing the crank pulley. Alex had to make a tool to hold the pulley so we can undo it It was so bloody tight it was unreal.. But the bolt came undone and pulley removal tool used to extract Bottom engine cover removed so I cleaned it all up removing residue oil. Pauls engine covers and the auto TT tensioner than Rob polished up for me Alternator on and Pauls pulley kit fitted I fitted the crank pulley back on and Alex used his new tool to hold and we did the bolt up to 326Nm (in between the usaand UK sec listings) Next up Gates Racing cam belt of which Paul also supplied Alex had to come into help at this point with the Fan kit. We mounted the fans onto mishimoto rad and placed it in. Alex had to modify the SRD box mounts as the fans stuck out further than that area compared to the OEM shroud And after many hours of messing around with wiring we got it done. Our massive issue was the relay set up of the fan kit. As Kaan has his hooked to syvecs the switches were in a negative set up. As I had no spare outlets on my syvecs it had to be hard wired into stock sensors in a positive set up, So in the end it was plugged into the AC fan plug blue wire (for future reference for anyone) and did some minor rewiring on the replays from Lee's advice and Alex working out what wires needed to me changed over. And the final Pics I think it all finishes the engine bay real nice, and Pauls carbon engine covers were a bang on fit and transformed the look. (notice a very clean engine under tray as it was smothered in oil and grit ) Thanks for looking Paul
