  1. Hey all, I may need a TT igniter. Thanks Paul
  2. No need to split them matey,
  3. Pretty sure I have some. PM me if you like
  4. You must have got a good price doing it all yourself, good little project. Lots to crack on with, meguiars headlight refurb will sort your lights out nicely.
  5. Not quite for sale but was wondering if anyone would be interested in buying them, I'm pondering the idea of buying a new set but would need to sell mine 1st to afford them. There in pretty good condition, only problem I can think of is one of the bottom studs is snapped that bolts the headlight to the wing area and could so with a new bolt going in (I'm sure thats easy enough) But I run without it and fits fine. The outer corners of the large chrome ring had lifted off buy used chrome vinyl to hide it and you can hardly tell I'd want about £350 delivered I have a few recent pics from when I recently have at them a good cleaning inside and out. Thanks
  6. Yep, I paid £1500 for brand new recaro speeds in the finish that matches the car with bride rails. Personally I would only pay £1000 if there recently reupholstered..
  7. Absolute shite...
  8. Thanks parry. Piston should be fine. Syvecs would have cut off for safty which it did when thr missfire started hence no throttle. And not smoke at all from exhaust..
  9. Thanks bud And chris my afr was about 15.2 in lean mode and obviously reduced to the 14 area when throttle gently applied.
  10. Yer spoke to my mapper lean wouldnt have done it. But to be sure Im not doing it again Nationwide flex plus has been absolutly amazing. They have arranged with enterprise to give me nissan qashqai with all extras which i now have. So on monday i can do my 320 mile trip home in comfort on mondy and use for a few days. On monday after my short break with friends recovery man with special loader will pick my car up from the lodge to take home for me to fix.. Yesterday was a terriable day. Hit the road at 12.30.. Didnt get to my destination till 2am with out hardly eating and my health issues not helping.. Just one thing after another this week. Head unit going faulty again. Broke down. 1st recovery man sliced his hand and went onto shock so he had to be taken away as well as the loader. Then had to wait another hour for a different revovery loader to come designed for low cars. Nans funeral this friday coming, found a dent on the wheel possiable from recovery and to top it off my mate was so pissed last nighy he took a piss on the floor of thr room were sharing.. I think if Nationwide break down assist wasnt as helpful as they have been i think i would have popped. So car will be back at work monday. I will check it out tuesday and order what i need.. Thanks for the support all. And sorry for the rant.
  11. Ok thanks fellas still waiting on recovery :-(
  12. No the car ran perfect. And was fine all the way here... There new cam breather pipes.. Its my understandibg thats what lean mode is for. Motorway driving
  13. Hey all. 5 hours from home on the way to my mates stag do and i think my coil packs have melted. Ive done 250 miles using the Syves lean/mot mode My friend and I noticed light smoke coming from the vents so i pulled over and narrowed it to maybe oil vapor. And over hour later my car had massive missfire, throttle non responsive and exhaust poping ect.. and then a load of smoke came from under the spark plug cover and engine cut off. Any ideas why its done that. Im waiting for breakdown and dont have 5mm allen key to remove the cover to inspect.. Thanks
  14. Hey all, for a we weeks I noticed a annoying Squeaking sound coming from my boot while driving on not so smooth roads (so most of the time) Before I got home last night I wondered if it was the boot lid rubbing against something so while on the road I popped the boot open so it unhitched and it stopped. So would that be the boot rubbers? I did them changed about 8 years ago.. Any Ideas? Thanks Paul
  15. Thanks for the reply bud. I think I don't want a Kenwood ones anymore after this, I think I may go alpine.
  16. Cheers guys Haha yep anti lag is fine with the paint, so far so good
  17. Thanks fellas, its a tricky one due to it being aver a year but as its at attempted repairs from within its warranty period there's most probably a legal thing involved. Will keep the thread updated
  18. I'm going to make this short as I'm just fed up of this now. I may need so legal advice, or just general advice please. On the 29th July 2014 I bought a Kenwood head unit from Car Audio Security. The best one money could buy. Cost £1550. Fitted it a month later. On the 5th May 2015 under 10 months of purchase date the unit developed a fault stuck on a screen "System rebuilding" I had to take the unit out, spend £12 on postage for it to be fixed under warranty. On the 22nd November 2015 within 7 months the problem returned "system rebuilding" After a few e-mails they agreed on this occasion they will fix it free of charge, I did request a new unit but they said they could not authorize that. So I agreed for them to fix it but if it happens again I will need to see where I legally stand. So today 24th May 2015 exactly 6 months to the day... And low and behold "system rebuilding" I have made Kenwood and car audio security a ware and I want to know whats going to be done about. So besides I over paid for this unreliable heap of a device. I need some opinions for where I legally stand on a replacement to somewhat of a refund. This is the 3rd time its gone wrong and each time repaired under a year space. I'm done with this and I will have to keep sending it off to be repaired every 6 frickin months.. Edit: Car Audio Security refused to sort the headunit free of charged and only offered a chargeable fee to fix it to to the original purchase purchase date. I then called Fullers the repair shop for Kenwood and they disagreed and said this should be repaired free of charge with due to the reoccurring fault. So I called up Kenwood and they are going to replace the head unit.
  19. Thanks fellas, I made a post a few years ago about my front and rear screen seals, there ford ones, I thought they look much better than the Supra ones..
  20.
