Well after i had a go on my mates and just drifted it straight away (only long ones not around a track) so i had to get one!! amazing fun!! And dam there fast! Well i just wanted to say how crap i think youtube is since google bought it. Im trying to sign in after installing windows 7 and its saying that the username or password is wrong. Bit i know the user name is correct as i use a98pmalcolm for everything. However i havent manualy signed in for a while so i can only prosume that im not using the correct password (even though i use the same pasword for everything aswell) So i try and reset the password they end me an e-mail with a link to follow, so i click it and then it send me to a site to comfirm its me so put my e-mail address in and it cant do it as its not a google e-mail address WHAT UTTER BO!!OCKS, what there trying to do is anyone that wasnt to start using a youtube account or make adjustments has to sign up to google mail. I dont want google mail. i have no need for it as i use hotmail. All the people i know, know my e-mail address, all my sites included this on is signed up with my hotmail. And the search is pants....... pfft!! Why change good things.... Rant over

just a lil update i partitioned 200gb of the 1t hdd and installed windows 7 on it like scott advised and all my data is still on ther 750gb. backed up the important stuff on the 250gb hdd anyway. just finishing it all off now. thanks all for the advice EDIT: Now merged the 200GB with the 750GB to make back into 1T HDD again, all data still there an all ok now running windows 7 and its a nice OS so far...

would partitioning the 1t HDD now make me loose data? Basicly would it reformat the whole HDD?

yer i tryed backing it up on the 250GB but i need 400GB for my torrents, saved games, movies and music.... it is the samsung 1T but TBH i think for £80 im goin to go buy another T1 hard drive. i did get winows 7 for free.... I put windows 7 on the 250GB to test it is a loverly OS!! some programes worked some didnt directly off the sata 2 1T HDD

ohhh.... well my 1000gb hdd had vista and data. the 250gb had nothin on. iv unplugged the 1000gb hdd and plugged the 250 into sata port 1. puttin windows 7 on it as we speak... 1000gb hdd is untouched with all my data and the vista os

separated the OS from the data?

hay people im pretty clued up when it comes to pc's as i build them in my spare time. i have a question for those windows experts out there as i havnt really done somthing like this b4 i have a genuine copy of windows 7 professional. buts its a copy that can only be installed and not updated over vista... so id have back hundreds of gigs of music etc... off my terabite hd but i also run a 250gb second hd for emergancys and extra bits (theres next to nothing on it) so i was thinking of installinf the windows 7 os on the 250gb hd.. but could i add short cuts from the orignal terabite hd and run programmes directly off it or would i need to reinstall the programes onto the windows 7 250gb hard drive? thanks paul
