PMing you now mate multiplyer iv set to 8 and have the additional at +.05 Its very bizzar isnt it when its set for 3.8 or even a 3.6 as soon as u set it over 3.4 it just refuses to reconise what is bios!

Well its what CPUz says, I just asked for 8GB from my local PC shop, Power C. Samsung RAM unreliable then?? Its been good so far... You will have to excuse my noobness to this as im new to over clocking. But i havent manualy set my ram timings... How would i do that on the gigabyte motherboard bios and what timing do you think is best?? Regarding the CPU voltage i notched it up a lil put it on full load via Prime95 and they were getting to 80+ Degrees. Turned down the voltage a lil and it was avaraging 65 Degrees so i thought best to leave it there at that. As you said all overclocks are different due to different. Thanks Paul EDIT:Ican see how to set the timings in the BIOS now. The timings are 6-6-6-18 but thats what samsung recomend for the 400Mhz DRAM iv taken it off auto and manually typed 6-6-6-18. Also put the CPU voltage to 1.3000. Ran prime59 for an hour and no errors

thanks for the replys... i have disabled CE1 Will look for EIST now.... OK an update i have it running at 3.40Ghz... And set the Ram valtage to 2.00v http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/869/cpu340.jpg But as soon as i try and set it at 3.80GHz it auto sets it self back to 2.80Ghz. So im still getting the same result. Although im stress testing at the moe and im avaring 78 degrees so most probly will lower the CPU + ram valtage and leave it at 3.40GHx till i go water cooled at the end of the month! UPDATE: On full load CPUS are running a lover avarage of 65 - 70 Degress which looks a nice satable setting for now after lowering voltage on ram and CPUs But any ideas why the system refused to accept 3.80Ghz buy putting it automaticy dispaying 2.80Ghz in windows but 3.80Ghz in BIOS will be a great help as when i go ice cold cooler at the end of the month i will try to get them to +4.0Ghz.... Thanks for the replys. My cooling will be fine as i use the Antec 900 case and iv customized some fans so its 4 inlet fans. And my CPU fan is a nice cool master one. Im goin water cooled at the end of the month. These CPUS can be safely over clocked to 4GHZ and with a good cooler 4.2 GHz And it still be a stable system. I couldnt find a speedstep option in BIOS. I did look.. but with is running at 3.40 i prosume were ever it is, is disabled. Yes im clocking it via bios. Iv managed to clock it to 3.4GHz per core and yes i use CPU-z its a great lil application. With the overclock of 3.4 Ghz the cpus avarage temp is 45degrees so still running nice and cool. Just setting it to 3.8GHz sets it back to 2.8GHz which is factory spec even though is bios it says 3.80GHz. Hay all looking for a shine on the subject. Iv just overclocked my Intel Q9550 processors to 3.8GHz from 2.3GHz In the bios is says the system is overclocked and the cpu frequency is 3.80GHz but when i load up windows (seems faster) and check the CPU speed with a few free programes on the net is says the cpu's are at 2.33GHz??? Bios says one thing and aplications say another? Will it display overclocked speeds on the aplications? or the factory speed only? Any advice would be great.... I suspect Scott will pop up with a post lol

theres a big different between the 2. The genuine HKS one works on 2 different internal valves making that distinctive woosh that they do. They work Sequentialy on different boost levels as its a pull type piston hence why there called the Super Sequential Blowoff Valve. The ebay ones are 99% plastic and have 1 valve so they sound nothing like them. There is also an adjuster screw at the back and the thread goes after 1 turn. They are utter rubbish!! I know coz i bought for mess abouts a few years back... Chances are if it has HKS logos on it, it will be geniune though...

i have the super silent HKS and its a nice exhaust... thats all i can advice lol

Benifits get offered to people!!! Can you belive that! i have had a few customers that tell me that they get told they will earn about £10 less a month if they go on benifits... so.... y the hell not! I totaly disagree with the whole benifit rubbish... If people want to get benifits (because they cant find a job) they should have a work placements in retail and warehouses etc... SO they have to sign on with the company for free and the payslip somes from the govenment (which is the benifits) not the company tacking on the the benfit robber... If they dont get signed on with the company they dont get the benifits!! That will make the lazy bastards look for a job as they will be underpaid for what they are doin at the work placement!! Its that simple...

set mine jst under 1000 RPM so the rattly fly wheel wont be as loud and when the engine is cold with the new cams it will cut out easy.... so 1000 is rite for mine

Iv been looking at the same wheel for close to 5 years every day and sumin doesnt look rite on the e-bay pic. The centre plate sits higher and wider, horn logo is to big. the spokes are different angles and its a slightly different shape. But that could be just me.... This is mine... its a loverly wheel. I paid for it as new around £170 some years back now! Had it on the corrado the on th Supe. Good price though mate
