  1. Havent really got that kinda money as all the paint work is costing £700 My reliable painter said he wont charge me any different no matter how difficult the bumper is to fit. I know he will do a good job but I wanted to make it easier for him. Also with the bumper being completely blended in it will make things easier.
  2. Doesnt sound to good for the engine then.. And if syvecs management can be set up to act close like it theres no point getting it as im going syvecs management this year. Thanks for all the advice with it
  3. Hay all. Hope everyone had a good time at the POD. I was working and couldn't get it off Anyway, for a while iv been looking at these Bee*R Revlimiters. Other Supra forums they seem to get a liking but only pre-installed, no official opinion on them after installation. Has anyone had experience with them at all? They have a launch control feature and they also cut the ignition not the fuel so you get pops, bangs and flames. Its all adjustable on how you want it. Would they be able to run with an aftermarket ECU i.e: Syvecs Not to expensive at £150. http://img28.imageshack.us/img28/8104/beerrevlimiter500x500.jpg Some Info on them: This is Bee*R’s popular two-stage ignition cutting rev-limiter. It is used to prevent damage arising from over-revving your engine. Part of the reason for its popularity is the large flames and loud bangs it produces from the exhaust when active! The way in which it works differs from the factory rev limiter in that it is an ignition cut, as opposed to a fuel cut. The reason for this is because if an engine (particularly turbocharged) regularly hits a fuel-cut rev limit (such as in high performance driving, or particularly drifting) engine damage can arise due to the lean condition produced when the original ECU shuts off the fuel pump. The BEE*R rev-limiter allows fuel to pass into the engine still, limiting engine speed by disabling the ignition signal. The Bee*R rev limiter is fully adjustable in 500rpm increments, for safety reasons allowing only a lower rev-limit to be configured than standard. If you have spent a lot of money tuning your engine, or are running at high RPM’s for extended periods of time, it could be recommended to run a lower rev-limit to prolong engine life. Both Formula 1 and JGTC cars use ignition cutting rev limiters, so it is a fully race proven concept. The Bee*R can also be used as a “two stage rev limiter”, as an aid for launching your car. The Bee*R is configurable for two different rev-limits. A lower rev limit can be activated by a switch, the handbrake switch often being used. This configurable lower limit, can be set to the optimum RPM to launch your particular car from in 500rpm increments. When the handbrake is released, the usual rev limit comes into action, allowing quick launches, and full performance down the strip. The Bee*R rev-limiter has another final neat feature. The gain control knob allows you to adjust the frequency of the ignition cut. This in turn changes the frequency and sound of the flames and bangs from your exhaust! Available for use with all rotary, 4 and 6 cylinder engines. (No V8 application) JYZgMxkpHWg
  4. No more advice before I buy? Knight-Racers one seems good, and my mate works on the same industrial estate so he can pick it up for me
  5. Anyone know somewhere that explains how these work with each other?
  6. Well noticed Stevo.. Any other opinions or experiences with these companies?
  7. Good kits these.. I have one and i'm pretty impressed, GTWTS
  8. Which do people think will be better quality and best fit? http://www.knightracer.com/shop/index.php?route=product/product&path=38_57&product_id=770 or http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JDM-TRIAL-Toyota-Supra-JZA80-NA-TURBO-2JZ-Rear-Bumper-/140579623317?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item20bb32d195#ht_5832wt_1025 or http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOYOTA-SUPRA-TR-REAR-DIFFUSER-BUMPER-bodykit-/170655043159?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item27bbd54e57#ht_2706wt_905 or http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/toyota-supra-mk4-trial-ext-rear-bumper-/120760906606?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1c1de9336e#ht_941wt_1139 Unless anyone knows somewhere else that sells these bumpers? Thanks Paul
  9. I will be after a trial rear bumper. If someone has a used one good condition let me know please I can get new £190 + £40 del so ideally looking for a better price. Thanks Paul
  10. random thread, but I have no issue except it makes me feel weird that someone died there..
  11. Nicely said scott.. SupraDan24, If you have an issue and stress with signal DON'T GET THE IPHONE 4 it looses reception the way you hold the bloody thing lol my mates are always moaning about that.. But at the end of the day get the phone thats best for you (aslong as its not an iphone ) lol But seriously have a good read with that link I sent you, see what features suit you and check out prices with contracts. But my advice is the GSII as it has all the features from every other phone +more
  12. For restrictions I mean: Media has to be itunes or only Quicktime. Cant send pics or vids via Bluetooth. MC slot (already mentioned). No Flash player so cant view sites as there meant to be viewed. But comparing the Samsung Galaxy s II to the iphone 4 its far superior with alot more features. My mate with an iphone wanted to know some quick differences what mates it better and i hadnt deleted the file so heres a short list 1. Sumsung supports Flash Player 2. Samsung has 1.2 GHz Processor not 1Ghz 3. Bigger better AMOLED screen 4. 8Meg pixle cam not 5 6. Thinner 7. Andoid is better opperating system than iphone, sort example it has 7 dashboard for widgits etc. 8. Can send music + pics via Bluetooth 9. Dont need a PC to use it 10. Lighter in weight 11. Brighter Flash 12. full 1080p recording 13. Can use what ever music player to sync music 14. Better Battery (620hrs stand by) 15. Supports more moive files. 16. Has memory card slot 17. Navigation is better using Google maps and street view. But the thing is because Apple is a technological brand you tend to find you will end up paying for it, normally about the £200 unless you have a stupid high contract! And that because the likely reason that 70% of i-phone users buy it because "its an i-phone and its cool" A perfect example the other day is my mate Kev asked how much i spent building my gaming PC and his response was "Jesus you could have bought a Mac for that" of course i said "oh yer and how much do you know about PC's and how much more powerful my PC is! Kev what's a good spec on a Mac?" and he said "I don't know but there good aren't they?" pretty ironic he has an i-phone lol
  13. yep as everyone else says. Back it goes. They should have picked that up and redo it
  14. Deffo Samsung Galaxy S II. Its voted number 1 Smart phone. Its an incredible phone with no restrictions (unlike I-phone) Some of my mates are so impressed with it there getting rid of there I-Fashion for one.. Great info here pal. You can go though the top 20. This is updated all the time to keep on top of whats best: http://www.techradar.com/news/phone-and-communications/mobile-phones/20-best-mobile-phones-in-the-world-today-645440?artc_pg=21 P.S. Don't be reeled into the fashion phone of apple. There are better phones out there mate..
  15. I've been the in the Cycle trade for over 10 years and I worked my way up from a part time bike builder to a store manager and I HATE it with a passion. Mainly as there not paying me as the store manager even though I'm doing the job in fact my basic wage its less than everyone else in the store so i have to make sure I get most of the sales to get the commission! Even though 90% of my customers are nice people I dislike serving them as I always have 101 things to do. But if i was payed for the Job im doing i will feel better there but there just plain refusing. So Im desperate for a new job
  16. I had a CC stage 4 6 pad clutch fitted a few months back and SH!T it a load heaver. So much my right side back mussel was aching for 3 days and I split a shoe! lol Now i'm used to it.. You will get used to it pal
