I agree Daman to be honest. Its like buying something and then getting triple back. I'm sure there are miss sold PPIs against people desperate for money feeling they have to have it to be accepted for the Loan. Or against people that don't get told they will have a PPI on there loan. But once there is a loop hole, everyone will go charging in..

Thats pretty much it Daman.. I wouldn't of considered claiming back, epically as I asked for it a signed I wanted it. But if someone calls up saying I maybe able to get you back some money, no win, no fee situation you would take it right? Nationwide were very clear on there paperwork so I think it would have been VERY difficult to do myself. Unlike Barclays I hear.. They have put millions and millions to one side for PPI claims.. So I guess they know there was something wrong with the way they got people paying it.

PPI's can be quite cheap I think I paid around £18 every quarter or something. I asked for it due to my illness so I was covered as unfortunately I'm not getting any better especially back then. But to the average Joe £18 can be alot/waste of money The money back on PPI's reclaiming is also compensation rather than just refunding what you had already paid.

Well aren't you a funny lot.... End of the day I didn't even think about trying to claim before they called. ok.. they kept 30% but i looked at doing it myself and I couldn't see how I could claim it back being the fact that I asked for a PPI when I took the loan and on my loan documents (that I would have had to send off but didn't from using the claim guys) I had ticked a very clear box that I wanted the PPI. My sister used a cheaper company and had to send off yer documents. Now... If I had tryed to claim and got rejected that was my one shot! That's the DIFFERENCE!!! So to conclude on all your very humerus comments on clearly trying to make a fellow member feel like a pile of crap (of which you didn't) and show how stupid he is infront of other members (only showing me that there's members that clearly feel like there the dogs bollocks and there the next Lee Evens) I got £1300 which was better than nothing!!!! And if it wasn't for the claim guys calling me up. I wouldn't be getting my syvecs management tomorrow. Difference is between that is I didn't pay for advice I didn't pay anything! They got me money...

Hay all. Digging up and old thread to here to let you know that the claims guys are genuine and they got me £2000 but there charge with VAT came to £700 I did nothing to help the process nor have to dig out old loan forms, they just sent the form off that they sent me of which I had to fill out next to nothing and they got me money that I wasn't expecting or thought of trying to get It paid for my Syvecs ECU Oh I did look into doing it myself but looking at my forms I had actually ticked I want the PPI. TBH I never even thought of trying to claim anything back so I didn't mind going through a company

Hi Scott to be honest I have to disagree a little. I'v just gone on e-bay and added up the components I'm selling (besides the mobo I just guessed at £80ish) new at £880 not included a HDD nor CD ROM drive. Ontop of that the CPU is overclocked to a nice 3.80 GHz from its factory 2.83Ghz and 100% stable. As I haven't set an exact price and only looking around the £450 price and have mentioned that I can complete the rig (using a new HDD) with Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit for a little extra I will consider sensible offers.

Anymore possible interest gang? Quite keen on building a new rig :-P

Hi supra man. I use 2 ATM a 1000GB and a 250GB but I will be using them for the new rig. But for an extra £70ish I can fit a new HDD for you with Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit made Genuine and keep the CD rom drive on there. I'd want to keep the RAM cooler for my new rig mate. But there about £20 new

The only thing I would take off is the hard drives, Ram Cooler and a CD Rom drive as these will be needed for my new build. If you wanted to pay an extra £70ish I will leave the CD rom drive fitted and install a new hard-drive with install Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit all made Genuine. I didn't remove the caliper when i did mine. Just make sure you get them looking all nice and silver by working away at them with a wire brush... Then brake cleaner to degrease them.

Really scott? After the 60GB I thought they only read PS3 games?

na just want some single shot weapons as a automatic. My mate done it with his mouse (logitech software) and... well.. annihilated isnt the word used. Although that was against xbox games which consist mainly of small children lol
