  3. Hey guys cheers for the replies. The issue is the new oem links I have are lined up where I need some offset ones like 2soops has put. Time to buy some adjustables but the rears are fine.
  4. Just fitted the rear and all fine. About to fit the front and my new Toyota drop links don't line up?? The roll bar finishes 90 degrees out from the original so the links don't fit. Am I being stupid?? Bought these roll bars off a member that came off a supra

  6. it is probably the fluid level. it only has to be off a tiny amount and it will flag up. worth just putting it on max just in case and normally solves the issue.
  7. Hey guys thanks for the replies. Before the contoller I was running a restrictor and was seeing 1.0-1.2 comfortably. Got the contoller set and all was good. Battery never died so I will go about checking the vac pipes and solenoid tomorrow!
  8. Right long story short my BPU TT has decided to return to stock boost and my controller will not change this?? It had 3 stored settings of .8, 1.0 and .1.2 bar before and one day decided to ignore all of these settings. What may of caused this as I am unsure? Contoller is Gizzmo msII still has restrictor ring Car is running fine just no change in boost. Many thanks
  9. yeah i was trying to see if i could mount it where the oem one was but gonna have to have a second thought or as you say get it welded on then blanked off. cheers Nic
  10. Hi everyone, i have got my hands on a sard r2d2 dump valve for a supra but need the fitting kit from the aristo non-vvti as the bov locations are slightly different. I cant seem to find anywhere that sells just the fitting kits so any ideas from you bunch of bright sparks???
  11. same as above, i have to jack mine up if i want to keep it on ramps like the above lol, you might as well get some real good axle stands so you can have it any height you want for different tasks.

  13. i have just installed one into my n/a-tt and all seems to be going well. pretty simple to wire up and fit and the menu's are pretty simple to navigate once you get used to it. (typical man didnt read the manual to start with!!!) what info are you after? i am using it for boost control and fcd mainly, cant be bothered with the timer but again easy to set up.
  14. right well after some poking, fiddling, soldering and checking managed to get the car running properly again with no CEL. if was def related to the map sensor wiring i had played around with so many thanks for the advice gents. my only issue is now i have no second turbo coming in at 4k, could this still be the map sensor struggling or could it be a vsv issue??

  16. Right I am now out of ideas. Car was working fine, went to wire in a HKS FCD and since then these are the symptoms. Removed the FCD and still the same. Symptoms are 2nd turbo will not come online, I have a constant engine light on and have very rough idle. Have code 31 stored. Any bright ideas would be much appreciated!!
  17. Right I am struggling with the car fuel cutting. The question is that I am going into the turbo pressure sensor wire as instructed, is this correct??

  19. hi guys, i am in need of putting wires from my o2 sensor into the back of my ecu plugs. i have a j-spec and have been studying the ecu pinout diagram and have found pins 48 and 71 are for the oxygen sensor but where does the third wire go?? any help would be great and how do you know what colour goes into what pin?? sorry its vague but i can run wires to the sensor and just swap them around until they work if needed just need to make sure i am putting them in the correct positions before jumping in 2 footed. cheers
  20. Had a walbro 225 in there. Whipped it out and plugged the na one back in and she fired up fine!! Does this mean the 225 is no good or do I need to change the ecu?? i didn't know the ecu's were different if they are?

To sort the power issue it was a mix of checking grounds and adding in another engine ground to ensure the loom was all grounded properly as i traced it all and for some reason it only had 3 earths. I also changed the coolant temp sensor and crank position sensor to nice new ones!! I bought a walbro of a member ao i can come out full bpu, could be a chance that it has just given up. I can't here it prime so it was first on the agenda to get to this morning. I will get some contant power to it to check it and update. Cheers
  22. Right little update managed to sort it BUT... Car fires for a couple seconds then dies, will not idle... Most probable causes???
  23. Right still no joy. Fuses and relays checked. The efi relay and starter have constant power but when ignition is on the other contacts do not change. I am getting no power to the ecu. Would Putting a live wire to the battery wire on the harness help for diagnosis??? The dull engine light still stays on so no change there. Could I have done something silly like grounded incorrectly?
