More than 1 crash - a series of crashes one after the other this has only just started All the research in the world ain,t going to help, look to history ie 1930 and add credit cars, store cards, house ownership, a constant need for growth , and the shear complexity ( read folly) of modern global financial systems The modern system forces people to become investors and speculators - like it or not , constant growth ,ask yourself is that possible ? Yet it has to be.. Running along an exponential curve must end very badly... Again I warn of major problems ahead-but if people think they can better mathmatics, then carry on, trade away .......

It really isn't the time to be into the stock Market- you can get burnt in the coming months/ years Many professional traders are about to find this out!!
  3. Just too late swampy How many times has that happened to me !!!
  4. As the cars age its not surprising that Toyota will stop supplying parts - to be fair how many people will simply buy new parts like door panels etc ? and the jspec cars were for the Japan market!! the cars are now in the cheapy end of the market, the insurance companies more likely to scrap than repair . Which leads to the question are the premiums going to drop ? On the plus side there could be huge clearance sales of new old stock - complete interior £400?
  5. Took a quick look at your site ,I know its new ,but the questions an Owner of the bike would ask are not answered ie Do you collect/deliver? what insurance cover is there ? Can you inflate and rotate tyres ? Can I contact you to check if bike starts before I come and collect What happens to the keys ? and loads more ,just my 2 p worth
  6. Its all about visibility now , you can have the greatest website and facility ,but if no one can find you on google then you simply dont exist . Its very seldom that people go beyond page 1 of search results and seldom beyond 20 seconds duration even if they find your site !! Try googling yourself , with bikes, motorbikes ,storage, aberdeen, and such like and see what happens ? You now need an website guy who knows his stuff---- ie about 0.0001% of the people who offer this service, and will take your money from you Simple things like links to Motorbike forums, removal companies, expatriot sites, etc you can do yourself with an email ,Good luck
  7. Where exactly does the 450 or 550 bhp ? maximum come from -what precisely fails on the auto ? again the uprated autos what is uprated and why ?
  8. Does that involve going for a drink?
  9. surely health and safety were called in !! I dont think those shoes have steel toecaps- Well done on the award
  10. Yes its a common problem - Stop using the car now ! the failure gets worse and end up that you cannot turn off the power steering pump - so you end up with a flat battery and the loom to the power steering pump melts ,add another £75 Remove the pump , strip and clean out all the carbon build up , reassemble and refit - if done early enough it will cure the problem ,if not a new pump is needed circa £300 clean the pump every couple of years , the latest pumps also fail but less than the early ones
  11. replied - On the shell- the mirrors are electric folding ones too,bet they cost a fair bit from mr T
  12. I also will have a pair of jspec headlights available - as I have uk glass ones to fit - the jspec ones have been covered in the stone protection film which gives them a slight blueish colour and are in good condition -£80
  13. the donor car has the 6 speed looms in -the engine runs - but if somebody wanted the whole car they would stay ,or if someone wanted it with the engine they would get preference -you must understand that I would not want to make it difficult for someone if they wished to put the car back on the road and refitting looms is not always that easy
  14. Both cars will be at whiffbitz next week - I dont really know what to ask price wise , but first reasonable offer and its a done deal - NA convertees - its a good chance to get all you need in one shout-break open the piggy bank!!
  15. I have 2 supras - one has been front end damaged and its engine is being transplanted to another car - a stock TT So I have a stock TT engine and turbos intake/exhaust manifold etc as one lump -this has had recent cam belt change and can be seen heard running up to the 26/5/10 Also I have the shell with front end damage-(panels not chassis) to sell as whole or break - bilstein shocks, steering, running gear ,dash, doors ,hatchback ,trim, looms, ecus etc (its a j spec manual but no gearbox or pedals ) -its unrecorded so could go back on the road
  16. I think I can help you - pm me

Probably not the wisest time for seculating/investing , more finding the safest haven In the 1930 crash ,most money was lost by those who thought the market was at bottom an bought- only for it to drop further
  18. The rear spoiler is out in the airflow which is OK but aerofoils can only go to about 15 degrees angle relative to the airflow - that one would just stall and work the opposite of the desired effect The rear skirt looks like its stolen from a Dalek
  19. If it misfires under load ,it misfires without load but you cant detect it -still should have a temp difference just not as large as under load so still a valid check and may help you
  20. http://www.virtualvillage.co.uk/gun-style-infrared-thermometer-003920-045.html One of the above type temp guns is an essential for your tool box ,they are sooo useful -get one with a higher range if you can start engine and run till it misfires - then point the laser at each exhaust manifold branch and record the temp - the coldest one is your misfire cylinder -thats the coil pack or plug thats knackered They really are useful in all sorts of things ,a must on any tuned engine so you can "see" whats happening around the engine , nicely set up each cylinder should have even temps - You can get 1 cylinder running say hotter than the others all the time and fit a colder plug in that 1 cylinder cos thats the plug that will fail -lose its tip and cost you £££££ -forewarned is for armed , a big build cost down the tubes for the sake of a £50 temp gun Good to check on cars that you are going to buy too "nice car mate but your rads knacked " hard to argue with too
  21. As you said there are loads up for sale, petrol is now expensive and likely to go up,we are also heading into a deep depression ,jobs falling at a pace . These cars are generally second cars ,and over 15 years old Look at the price of M5 BMWs there almost giving them away ,7 or 8 years younger ,far less mileage,FSH , and all the toys , XKRs,Mercs and a long list of the boom year luxury cars are all out there for sale now . I saw a Bentley continental GT for 28K for a 2003 ,I guess some banker didnt get his bonus
  22. The coil packs have the insulation break down, the hotter they get the the lower the insulation resistance - misfire The outer case of the coil packs get brittle and over time /temp they get tiny hairline stress cracks , It is here the insulation resistance breaks down ,also if you fit them tightening too hard they can crack . to measure them you need to measure the insulation resistance using a megga , measuring the coil connections might not tell you much at all take them out carefully one by one and closely inspect them for tiny cracks , and try spraying a clear lacquer over them , or coating in RTV (not pretty) to add insulation to them. or just get new ones (one ) Also make sure the LT side connector is nicely connected and undamaged
  23. did you press the reset button on the side of the guage?
  24. 75% of this great nations wealth is held by 6000 people , the remaining 25% is shared out between the remaining millions This is the status quo- Left wing ,right wing ,any wing ,wars ,conflict, booms and bust ,policies come and go,-The status quo remains I would love someone to explain this to me !! any one of the 6000 on here
