antno started following Supra RZ original v160 6speed manual
-
Ive decided to sell my supra because it isn't getting driven as much as it should. The car hasn't been too much trouble over the years and I believe it to be fairly honest. Ideally I would like it to go to a member so I've decided to list it here first. Make: Toyota Model: Supra RZ original v160 6speed manual Year: 1996 Facelift: no Mileage: 62,426 miles TOTAL this might go up a little Imported with 83092km (51630miles) then covered to miles, now showing 93888 MOT remaining: September 2025 Service history: Serviced by myself. Oil and filter every year. Cam belt done within the last 500miles along with oil, brake and clutch fluid. Always used millers CFS 10/50 and genuine Toyota filters. Gates belts and genuine Toyota tensioners and pulleys. There have been quite a few bits fitted over the years. Rear wheel bearings, rebuilt turbos etc, I have a lot of receipts from Toyota and various places. All have not a lot miles on them. Car's location: Daventry Imported by Jurgen (JM-Imports LTD) in 2011. Where they carried out an underseal. The car has never seen a salted road and the car was started every 2 weeks in the winter. Modifications: BPU. Veilside exhaust, HKS F-Con silver, ARC front mount intercooler that has been fully ducted so all the air goes through it. Grade 7 NGK spark plugs and bigger gss342 fuel pump to support the other mods. Ati fluid crank damper. Chris Wilson fast road clutch, it's a new genuine Toyota cover with a slightly heavier diaphragm. It also can be run safely without the F-con if you are worried it’s not really needed for this low amount of engine mods. Chris Wilson fast road pads for the UK spec brakes and genuine Toyota discs. Motul brake fluid with Goodridge braided lines. discs and pads will be less than 1000miles on them Chris Wilson fast road dampers. Progressive Eibach springs on the rear and non progressive on the front. Chris Wilson did the ride height and geometry setup. Large B03B differential with a Kaaz fitted. Work Emotion CR Kai 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 both +30 All three Genuine TRD gauges. TRD Spoiler. (I do have a 040 white original spoiler that will be sold with the car, will need a flick of paint though). Bad bits: The car isn't show grade and has all the usual problems with 28 year old Japanese paint when you look closely. It has had paint work. Isn't necessarily good or bad but the carpet inside has been cut to accommodate, I'm guessing, a Cusco roll cage. The type that dodges the dashboard. It’s never bothered me as the quality of the carpet is really good and if you are planning on fitting a cage it is a benefit. PRICE £45k Open to offers. Not really in any rush and would rather see it go to a good home.

Hello I will be selling my 1996 white RZ TT6 early next year all being well. Its BPU spec, ill have to confirm on the milage but it was imported around the 60k km mark then converted to miles and now its up showing 93K. I have the import milage written down somewhere. Id say it's in pretty good condition, it's never seen a salted road since Jurgen imported it. Its on Chris Wilson Bilsteins, brake pads and clutch. silver F-Con, ARC Intercooler, full set of TRD gauges. I'm sure there are a few more bits that I can't remember. I'll stick a few photos up if are interested. Cheers Ant

I suspect you could but the benefit of these is that you can get the seat really low by bolting directly to them.

Ah cheers Homer this helps a lot. I will check the pump again

Thanks for that pal. Can you shed any light on this? when starting from cold with no residual fuel pressure am I right in thinking that you turn the ignition on the fuel pump should prime the system then turn off again? my problem is there is no fuel pressure on ignition so she coughs and sputters then stalls on that first start up. while this happens it does generate a bit of fuel pressure which is kept in the lines. second fire up it has enough to get running then it works perfectly. Stop and start it as many times as you want as long as you don’t leave it long enough to loose all the residual fuel pressure. any ideas of what signals I should be getting on key (ignition on)? its just odd it seems to work fine once the engine is rotating over a given rpm I’ve got an oscilloscope to check the pins cheers Antno

Yes that’s what they are designed for. These are the long ones to get the seat as far back as you want. cheers Antno
