  1. I've got a Black Absolutely Stock GZ TT. Only mod is the wheels! I've also just had the engine fully rebuild stock, even replaced all the hoses with black silicon just to keep it looking original!!!! The pic below is from before the rebuild. http://www.testpilot.co.uk/supra/ttbay.jpg
  2. Cheers HJM, It'll be my first trip to the ring so really looking forward to it. How do you use your box when on trackdays? CW said he used his in Manual mode, but when I've tried mine there's a bit of a delay while it changes up. If you do use the Manual mode can you drop down through the box and get the same sort of engine braking as a straight manual? Will it kill the box/engine if you change down too early or does it gear down when the revs/speed are correct for the gear? Sorry I haven't really played with my autobox much to date!!!
  3. Cheers Caseys, NFS Shift on my list to buy next
  4. Cheers for the prices on the Pads Chris. I'll have to work out what to do. The Fast Road Jap Spec Pads are probably more in my price rang at the moment, but I don't want to skimp for the sake of it. Compared to the standard pads how much more effective are the FR Pads? Sounds like theses would be fine for the Track Day, but I'd need to be careful with them at the Ring. Is this about right? Appologies for all the questions :-)
  5. Yeh, I was thinking of that. Do you know of any games on the PS3 that has Nurburg on it? I know GT4 did put that was PS2. Be good to get some practice in first!!
  6. Cheers for the feedback so far, I'm a bit scared now. I experience bad brake fade in a mates MR2 Turbo on an airfield day once. Luckily there was plenty of run off!!! Chris was sort of money are your Compound Pads? Sounds like a set of them at least is a good start. To be honest I'm not planning to absolutely go for it at the ring or trackday but adrenaline can get in the way a little!!! Can you recomend a good fluid as well?
  7. Some mates and I are planning a Nurburg trip at the beginning of the summer and thought I should really do a trackday here first in preparation as I've not done one in the Supra before. I previous had a TVR Griffith 500 so being a manual you can use the box allot to set the speed of the car. Now I have an Auto I'm just wondering how people get on with them on Trackdays? Do you use the Manual Mode or just a lot of heavy breaking? How do you fair against the manual cars on the track?
  8. Have a good one everyone. Anyone else still at work at the mo? Hope to be out of here by 1 though!! Cheers
  9. Thanks all, guess I'm missing a couple then, Footwell Courtesy lights are working fine too, forgot to mention that. Bunny Hop Button? Sounds great, Where do I get one? Want a 'Supra Pursuit' button as well but perhaps going BPU at some point might help that one!!!
  10. Evening All, Took my Supra to work today (lots of big grins and disapearances in my rear view!) Anyway when leaving to come home, it's dark of course so on goes my lights. So my question here is what should light up within the car? For me I get Dash clock lights, heater matrix buttons, heater fan speed and cig lighter. I sort of feel I'm missing, my autoshifter and perhaps heater temperature dial. Any insight much appreciated. Lovin the Xmas Theme by the way!!!
  11. I think you've done a cracking job on it, especially turning the whole thing round in just over 2 months, that's a real credit to you, most people would still be thinking about it!!! Hope to see your work at one of the future events. Love your KITT too by the way, thought it was the best show ever when I was a kid. Cheers.
  12. Hi all, thanks for another great afternoon in nice company. the swim home was a little hectic mind!!! I might beable to make a December meet depending on dates. Tigger, got your email on the calendar, I'll work the paypal bit out tommorrow at work. Cheers for now.
  13. Think I missed the calendar bit!!! What's the deal? Do I need to raid my piggy bank?
  14. Hi Guys, I should be able to make it, though I've been told to go easy on the food this time as we're out for dinner in the evening!!! Guess it's a salad then
  15. I'm off to a track Day at Castle Combe on Saturday. Bit skint so not taking mine on, but passenger riding with a mate. Should be fun.
  16. Hi Guys, Great to meet up with everyone today. Really enjoyed the food and the company. Thanks Tigger for organising the meet. Look forward to the next one, hopefully before Xmas. I'll let you know how I get on leveling on my bonnet. Cheers all:).
  17. The sun is was just out for a couple of mins here in Bristol !!!
  18. Great, Count me in! Be good to finally meet some fellow Supra owners. What's the format of the Mini Meets? Only reason I ask it's my Mrs birthday so need to be consious on the time on that day!!!! Cheers for the heads up by the way Tiggs.
  19. Your dash looks really good mate and the Chrome rings finish it off nicely. Really glad I saw your thread as I didn't even know you could get replacement rings just ordered mine now. Cheers
  20. I'm thinking of going this year. Is it any good? Only found it was on when looking on Pistonheads earlier. Seems a bit like a mini Jap Fest, is this about right? Here's a link to the website for it if anyones interested: http://www.modifiedmadness.vpweb.co.uk/
  21. Hi, been around the forums for a while now. Got my TT Supra about 3 months ago and because of various major issues with my engine only just finished running it in last week. Just had a stainless fitted and had it dynoed at the same time. 320bhp bang on so I'm well happy as it's totally stock apart from the wheels (and exhaust now!!). Be also great to meet up with you guys next meet. I'm in Bristol by the way. Cheers.
  22. Mate of mine bought a big Yank, Blues Brothers Styley. Weather got warm so decided he wanted it convertible, didn't have an angle grinder but did have an Arc Welder!! He cut through the roof on one side fine, half way through the second, some hot metal drops on the rear seat igniting it! Whole interior ended up on fire!!! He scrapped the car the same day for £25!!!!
  23. Hi, Been a full member for just over a month now and was wondering how I can get hold of a couple of club stickers to put on my car? Is there a membership pack or something? Cheers.
  24. Currently running the car in since its rebuild and have noticed that randomly the 'O/D Off' starts flashing. I drove to work and back Monday without it coming on and this morning, it came on as I was pulling into the carpark. Once it comes on it will remain until I turn off the ignition. If I do turn the ignition off/on it stops and will remain off until it next decides to do it!!! Any ideas would be much appreciated. Nothing changes about how the car drives so assume it's nothing major. If it's a sensor playing up wouldn't it flash all the time? Thanks
  25. Thanks for the feedback, wish I'd been there on first start. Running really sweet now, well happy. Yeh he basically said more miles the better for it in the long run. 1000 miles is a lot to do when it's not my daily drive!!! Going to take it easy as long as needed cause can't afford that again!!!! Cheers
