indeed so for reference all TT's regardless import or not "technically" require a cat, this isn't to say a tester won't pass you they just shouldn't according to ruling. NA's August 95> require a cat and pre Aug 95 the tester should perform a non-cat test so it does still have emissions levels to meet however they are so high you shouldn't have an issue.

after july 95 they do iirc, technically you need to be running a cat too as after july 95 you require a full cat test

a common fault on the 3S engines is rocker cover seals, mine is leaking causing oil to rot the ht leads which is giving poor spark and before i changed the leads the car struggled starting or idling. When you replaced the plugs did you notice any oil around the old plugs?

seen this a few times on ST202's, does it have an after market induction kit?

can highly recommend plastidip, recently did the mrs wheels on her GT4 and it's so easy to use and as said little to no prep required

whilst i can understand the reasoning behind having it as a ornament i think it's such a waste
