i get this click you are talking about, it even sometimes gets stuck while hard driving and letting off. it sticks and when pressed about 2-4% it clicks back into position. its more of a feeling than a sound..right?

my car is A JAP spec 96 tt and it has the bigger 4 piston front 2 piston rear brake setup. should it not be mentioned that all Jap turbos had bigger brakes from 95 onwards, earlier they had optional 17 inch rims with bigger brakes as an option which became standard i think in 95. I read this somewhere sorry cant back it up now but i believe its true.

even i have no license plate lights, owner in japan had put in a backlit number so probably discarded the light..where to find one?

Mine has 61000km on it thats 37XXXmiles on it, its a 96 RZ.

hey there, i am ordering a TRD speedo from japan, was just reading on the trs website that replacing will reset odometer to 0. i can understand that works for the 97+ supras but what about the 93-96.5? will it reset the digital odometer? pls let me know, coz if it does i dont think i am interested!

ceiling fitted, all fluids flushed and changed. Changed engine oil to castrol edge 5w.40 i hear its better than mobil 1. I still need to get hold of the v160 diff oil. I've placed an order for the exhaust systems and decat pipes. Its either going to be the blitz nur spec r or the apexi or maybe a kakimoto. Ordered supra turbo emblem for rear, and k&n replacement panel air filter. How long does the clutch in these usually last My car has 60k km now. Regards. .

Thanks for your advice. I'll be always using it on road since we have no tracks here so is that a better tire for road use? How to gain height and measure camber? Is it simple? Mine is the only tt in the country so even toyota dealers dont know much. about them!

just curious, the ride height seems low at the back of my 96 tt. even the camber seems negative a bit more than usual from others pictures here. also the tires at the back are 265/35Z18. i would want to put 275/40/18 if possible/advisable. the tires i have now are Sumitomos. i plan to put TOYO or GoodYear E F1. what are your views opinions on the topic. i am attaching a pic for reference( even though it looks normal in pics) it really doesnt seem so.. regards Asad

oh and they dont have any restrictor rings on them....never heard of it!!! they instead suggest 2.5inch decat pipes.......does that make sense?

the japs mostly recommened fujitsubo or apexi, the guys i am buying from dont even have BLITZ exhausts..(http://www.takakaira.co.jp) its a heaven for supras or the like..can you guys email me([email protected]) little sound clips of the ones you have? i know its asking for too much, thats only if u already have a clip..i am keen on the apexi but leaning towards the baffle included blitz too...

hey there, i have just about 2 more days to place an order for my exhaust system including the decat pipes for my 96 TT RZ. i am in a fix deciding which one to go for i want performance looks sound and efficiency and my budget is 1k. the ones i have found are: Apexi N1 Blitz Nur Spec R Hks Super Drager/ silent hiper Fujitsubo Legalis R..... etc they all fit my budget... i want something nice pls suggest asap. thanks. asad

i would just reset the ECU, ie remove battery for 10 minutes and reconnect. start up, idle for 10 minutes up until warm, and 5 more mins with air con, switch off and youre done. i just did mine, i do feel a difference in my gear shift and idle with air con on. i am a newbie too with a RZ

changed my tt oil and filter today, used CASTROL EDGE 5W-40 Synthetic, seems to be a fine oil! made a difference in the car already. apparently its 8x better than mobil 1!? well it was cheaper so def more value for money!

gladly it looks absolutely original from outside as for the inner, it will be covered as soon as ceiling arrives.. as i am a new supra tt owner: any basic driving tips/techniques you guys recommened? whats the best mpg possible with a manual supra tt? is 32 psi ok for tire pressure? i have 18 inch 235 in front and 265 rear

walaikum salaam, hey the car was sold to someone else and he being a purist removed the twin tail pipe set up and also welded the roof shut. He also ordered a ceiling from japan so thats coming in next week. The welding and paint of the roof is quite good. I miss the sunroof but apparently it leaked water in and was noisy at high speeds. I'll show u guys all in pics and details. Dont worry! For now i'm just too happy to have this car back. The previous owner happened to be a common friend to my close friend and left the country hence she came back to me! I know it sounds dodgy but this is luck and fate at its best.
