  9. i wouldn't worry about the bolts at the power your looking at some companies will insist you change everything possible for a couple of reasons 1. they make more money out of you 2. it can help cover any weakness in their engine building skills, the stronger it is the less chance of it going wrong of they do something not 100% correct if you had an unlimited budget which lets face it most of us dont then yes you would uprate everything for longevity of the engine but for most people this isnt an option and you have to compromise somewhere
  10. And that proves points made previously , music should invoke a reaction. Some like it some dont, since i bought that album in 1992 its been one of my favourites.

  17. can anyone tell me how a stock spoiler fits? strangely someone has seemed to think it would be a good idea to remove the spoiler before i bought the car. There are no holes that i can see so wondering how they fit? thanks paul p.s. anyone got one they want to sell
  18. thinking about again the schools thing doesnt really matter at the moment as my daughter is only 6 months old, i was thinking about the long term but by then i should have a good grasp of the areas if possible i would refer a more rural property but it all comes down to what i can afford. i have no problem with the more built up area just wondering where to avoid
  19. hi all To cut a long story short, me and my wife are considering relocating to the south from the north east coast due to a extremely good job opportunity for the wife, I am a contract draughtsman so can pretty much get work anywhere so not an issue for me. I was wanting to pick your brains in putting together a shortlist of areas to have a look at during a short visit. We dont have a massive amount of money (in southern terms) for a house but would definately want to buy rather than rent with a max budget of about 300k. ok the criteria 1. must be with 45min max commute of poole 2. would prefer over towards the west rather than the bournmouth side, 3. good area for schools 4. value for money housing if there is such a thing down south 5. small villages or towns prefered but within poole itself would be fine so any ideas where to start looking thanks paul
  20. unfortunately i suffer with both ankles going to hospital next month for an operation to dremmel the bones down a bit see if that helps
  21. hi all, need to pick your collective brains short version of a long story is i suffer very badly from arthritis in my ankle and driving a auto jpec TT with brakes that are poor to say the least I am finding it very uncomfortable to drive. I know it not the normal thing to do but has anyone any ideas for making the braking a lot less labour intensive, to get my car to stop from spirited driving speeds you really need to put a lot of pressure on the pedal which in turn causes me a lot of pain through my ankle I want to keep the car but at the moment cannot see how as its got to the point where i dont want to drive it, I have never driven one with uk spec brakes so not sure if they are any improvement in pedal pressure, so any ideas? uprated servo, larger discs? help paul
  22. shame it didnt set fire to him, flamer kits FFS
