I'd go with the SAFC i have had one and its a good but basic bit of kit as long as you get yourself on a dyno and mapped right.

Don't worry when i was at a local drag meet a guy with an auto had it in reverse at the start line and didnt notice. you can emagine his shock as he flies backwards from the start hahaha. still makes me chuckle.

I'm not a big fan of piggy back ecu's on the best of days but going single i would say no no.. if your doing most of the work and you have the time you should be ok. maybe find a good seccond hand turbo from a member on here i'v seen a few going. that will save you a few pennies. Edited due to my epic spelling fail.
