To get one in it went in a dream to get the other in i had to remove the white rubber ring to make it fit. good/bad idea?
  2. Its weird because sometimes the engine managemenet light doesnt come on but when it does 9/10 the car doesnt start first time, it cuts out just as its about to kick in
  3. when I turn the key to on position the engine managment light comes on in orange and then the car sometimes struggles to start sometimes cuts out and i have to start again. thought it just did it when cold but seems to be more regular now, plus when i start the engine even when hot it shoots up to 3k rpm but then i put it into drive and within 5 seconds its down to 700RPM, really confusing. plus the brakes seem to struggle to stop the car unless i really press hard for the first 1/2mins of my drive then there ok. really strange problems and all seem to begin at the start of the engine
  4. wouldnt put me off mate dont mind a bit of banter and get the answer your looking for, *eventually*
  5. connect and switch on each light to see what they do
  6. Ill just have to rip em out and see how it goes
  7. Ill have to put up pix, im on about the low beam light, theres like a screw cap similar to one on a peugout 306, unscrew the plastic cap to get to the low beam sidelight but there is a wire harness connector behind it thats screwed down
  8. No this is outside the cap, cant get it off after unscrewing because thats in the way
  9. check under my avatar thanks for reminding people tho mate
  10. Bet people have had so many questions about sidelights and things but mine I cant find in teh search. here goes. I have replaced the main headlight bulbs with HID's now im wanting the sidelights cahnging (so i dont have pure white headlights and yellow sidelights) but behind each of my caps (the things you twist to get to the sidelights) there is a wire box behind each one, that has a screw attached too but it doesnt seem to be anything attached to the lights its just in the way and i cant get the screw cap to come off because there in the way what the? headscratcher
  11. many more piss taking? ill drink to that

omg i have FINELLY gotten my headlights bulbs in. had to burn then file down the tracks inside so the bulb connection slid in smoothly, then in they went. next question. how do you get sidelights in because it seems easy enough but there's some wiring box behind each one where youd normally just unscrew the cap to get to the bulb, thats in the way and screwed in where's MR T when you need him
