Perhaps someone should tell whoever it is, in a way its not very fair to post up a big list of complaints then not name them It could be a couple of people and some people might think badly of someone who has nothing to do with it if they guess wrong

Its a great idea in principle, but Thief can sue you and most likely will (with legal aid probably) You might get your car kicked in if you piss them off, still maybe sometimes its better than losing it I'd rely on a decent immob and alarm personally, do you really want to be the test case maybe a under car flame thrower type device like they sell in SA would be better, at least then theres no evidence !!

no you are mssing my point, you take out a policy then cancel it within their cancelation period usually 14-30 days you might end up paying for 10 days cover but I would imagine you'd pay nothing

Maybe someone will correct me but I think the only thing you can do is take out a policy then cancel it most policies allow you to change your mind within 30 days for example

If I pay a cheque in and it clears, I would think its the bank responsilbilty to check its genuine not mine, they are cashing it after all I think this is all speculation now on my part, but either way the bloke need not worry, nothings gonna happen to him

There are stupid people everywhere, thats why these guys still send these 419 scams round, it only takes one idiot in 1000 people to make it worth their while

theres never any money, they send out hundreds of these mails and cheques and probably one person in 200 is stupid enough to bank the cheque and ship his car off before the cheque actually clears

I always thought that once the bank approved it as cleared funds (by talking to the issuing bank) then it was ok given that the bank have put it in your account to spend I stand corrected (and suprised), kind of defeats the entire object of a cheque In which case point two still applies It won't, so just ignore it and the emails, the little man in the internet cafe in Nigeria will get bored soon and move on to someone else
