  3. Guys I need some help I need two Pirelli P7000 Tyres, 265/35/ZR18 They are discontinued but some where may have them in stock, if anyone has the time to jump on the web or make a call to your usual tyre place and see if we can find some stock I'm trawling the web and ringing round right now, but I need them quickly and obviously I can't phone everywhere Many Thanks to anyone with any suggestions Cheers Dave
  4. I'm with HSBC, but recently I got other quotes and realsied I have been paying £15 a month more than other places can offer it
  5. I had this issue when I used a aftermarket turbo timer and had a clifford alarm fitted the solution for me was to ditch the aftermarket turbo timer and get the Clifford Turbo timer option, works fine Just thought I'd mention it, presumeably if you tried to bypass it the alarm once armed, would go off anyway through the motion of the car when the engine was still running Unless you are intending on getting a bit clever with wiring etc
  6. True mate ! give me a shout if you get stuck, as I've just done the same thing as you good luck
  7. Dude you don't need to register for email and webspace each time You just need to attempt to connect to the internet once router is all connected and you can connect to it (ping it or log on to it) then you need to go to the registration IP address, which I haven't got with me unfortunately, but you can get it from tech support if you ask for the ip address to register another machine for NTL broadband You can't get to this site from the main NTL site where you keep registering you shouldn't be registering on the main site otherwise as you say you'll have loads of email addys and webspace etc
  8. I have NTL with broadband though a set top box I use a Buffalo Router (wireless and has 4 LAN ports) coupled with a 54g card in the laptop) The network cable goes from the set top box into the WAN port on the router Fairly easy to set up, you will have to go to the NTL registration site before you can get on the web, its the only site you'll be able to get to when you first connect I can dig out the IP addy if you need it
  9. I'm betting the set top box has ethernet connection going to a EZ USB Converter which he plugs into his pc/laptop
  10. why would he need a cable modem router he just needs a router, the set top box has the modem in I use a Buffalo Router and wireless card with the same set up as you

  13. NTL are possibly the worst company to contact I have ever experienced They are probably something to dop with Telewest Cheap though I suppose
  14. Good point get on to your house insurance and get all the locks changed including the car
  15. post on forums, use the internet If it didn't have much fuel in check the petrol stations nearby
  16. its like most chain tyre places refusing to fit tyres bought elsewhere
  17. 16.8 psi probably not a good idea then
  18. The Phoenix consortium bouggh them for £10 and took on about £500 million of debt they probably knew they would never turn it around, they paid themselves large salaries and took money out the company early they did what any ruthless businessman would at the end of the day Rover have nothing, their dealerships are heavily mortgaged, they don't own the MG brand, they don't own the rights to the 25 or 75 models, they don't own the K series engine rights and they have a £400 million pension hole they do have a £8 million country estate though for what thats worth its not looking good
