How on earth do you remove the half shafts from the differential,they seem to be seized solid.Ive tried lowering the diff right down,hit with a hammer,no joy.Any tips/advice would be most appreciated.

Ok,thanks.I'd read that you have to disconnect the wiring somewhere in the boot and something about removing a ground wire.

If I change the final drive ratio in a UK spec Auto diff, does the ECU have to be altered. Thanks

How do I know if it's shot, should you be able to move the prop shaft up and down where it joins the companion flange.Thanks.

Yeah it's a pioneer unit. I've read mixed reviews on the windscreen aerials, they seem very hit and miss,so was going to try a splitter, so need to keep my power aerial.If it's no good, will try the windscreen type. Oh right, I thought you needed the pc 17-4-2 harness. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah that's what I was worried about lol, plus they seemed pretty clueless and unhelpful. I was under the impression that you needed to do something with the light green wire, or you couldn't use some of the features because it's like a safety device.

I've just got the same headunit.Can you bypass the handbrake by just earthing the light green wire, and do you need to wire up the power aerial or does it just work when everything's connected up. Going to try and fit it myself, didn't fancy paying £90 for Halfords to do it.Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks.

Just wondering if anybody has had the original cd changer repaired, or once it's faulty is that it, can't be repaired. Cheers.

Yeah that's what's on mine, think samsdale must be the jap spec one. Don't suppose you know if these are still available, I know it's a long shot. Cheers.
