  1. No one even mentioned that it's Canadian
  2. "Hahaha, dude.... wait, what?"
  3. Wait. I thought you played for the other team?
  4. I'll throw in my experiences. First few steps: New Exhaust or de-cat - stock exhaust won't get you very far, and is very restrictive Speed limit defencer - a 110mph will quickly start to hurt you on the 1/4mile or certain autocross events. JSPEC fuel pump/injectors - have to go at around 375bhp
  5. Bumpers need to be resprayed. Starter needs to be refurbed. It squeeks and creaks too much in cold weather (for my liking).
  6. I've had this problem for 2 years. Hasn't left me stranded yet, although 2 months ago it took me 10 minutes to start it.... since that restoration guide is down, I think I'm going to end up just getting the starter replaced. It's definitely not the battery - I've changed mine 3 times, and no improvement.
  7. I have a HKS TO4Z auto tuned to about .75 bar, so about 475bhp - gets about 550km on a full tank of gas highway driving, about 300km city driving (because I play around a lot more). This is better highway mileage than I had when it was TT, but worse city. Hope that helps!
  8. About ~25,000 British pounds for all the parts + labour (not including the price of the car). So, yeah - it wasn't cheap
  9. .75 bar (~10psi). The turbo is capable of around ~28-30 psi. A few of the local Supras have put down 570 wheel HP on pump gas with this turbo (all I need to do this is a better tranny, and bigger injectors )
  10. Thanks for the comments guys I'm an idiot when it comes to computers, and I've lost the link for the photo album itself on image shack... so the pictures are way too big (uploading new resized ones, but it will be about 2 hours) Unbelievable. It handles like a dream, and the turbo spools like crazy - and it just wants to keep going (even at 260+km/h) The tuner, Reg, had a pretty cool idea to preserve the automatic tranny - he set a rev limiter 50rpm right before the natural red line - so what it does is spools like normal, hits the rev limiter, makes sounds like a motor bike, spits out some gas, reduces the load on the tranny, and shifts up and continues to spool. I gave it some gas going about 120 (I had a silencer in, so the engine/turbo were easy to hear), and it sounded like a jet engine underneath the hood - it just rocketed off too.
  11. Well, after a year and a half of work, my car is finally done. Going to post some quick before and after pictures (excuse the shitty engine bay pics, and the recent ones in my back alley - I couldn't wait until the meet for someone with a decent camera to take pictures). Tuned to just shy of 400 wheel HP, and about 420 ftlbtq at 10 psi (trying to preserve the auto tranny for 5-6 more years, while I save up for a built Boostlogic tranny). 12. Hmmm. I could use some extra indicators in the back, along with a hole to cool the exhaust.
  13. Watched all 4 episodes so far - I feel the opposite of a few of the above guys though - it's too fast for me. I enjoyed band of brothers in that it had the introductory episode, where they went through boot camp, and you got to meet everyone. Here, 15 minutes into the first episode, they're already hitting the beach. Over all, it's good, but no Band of Brothers - might be because I find the European war more interesting than watching the battalion crawl through a jungle for an hour.
  14. Welcome mx62 Yeah, I'm from Saskatoon Scott, and will be moving to Regina in August actually (boo, Regina )
  15. Hey, I'm from Saskatchewan
  16. That's what I was afraid of Ah well, better safe than sorry.
  17. When I got my new wheels + rubber for the Supra, I didn't notice that one of the tires was flat (low profile tires in 18" rims, in a dark garage). Anyway, I drove for maybe 500 meters, noticing the car pulling hard to one side, reaching a top speed of 20mph. I pulled over and the tire was flat. The rims are fine, but the tire probably took a beating from being driven on like that. I recently went for a drive, and when I stopped after an hour, I noticed the tire was slightly warmer than all the other tires to touch. The others were cool to the touch, and it was luke warm. I realize this is probably because it got damaged, and it's flexing somewhat. My question is, I have to take a 600mile trip soon in the Supra - averaging 80mp/h on the highway. Will this tire last me the entire trip?
  18. Los campesinos - the sea is a good place.
  19. I got 283whp in my 93 TT JSpec auto, with a catback exhaust, and a restrictor ring restricting boost to 9-10 pounds.
  20. Bought it a while ago, about 8 hours into it. Definitely a fun game, although the controls drive me up the wall sometimes.
