  1. No I just fitted the auto LSD for street, which is great . But I need a 6 speed for the drag.
  2. and all that work you done on your car. what a bugger, hope your better soon.
  3. Yes your right , I think I will be getting a spear block to play with , if im going to do the drag series next year.
  4. Sounds good to me, will you run Nos with that as well.
  5. whats your plan then , is it top secret, at this stage Jamie.
  6. What would you say , would be an ideal BHP for a stock block , will you be trying to get to the 1000 bhp. or stick at about 700 bhp.
  7. how would we know that , the car has not gone over 70 mph
  8. lui has a phr kit i think it is the street .
  9. Thanks for that Stuart. I think I will get a trailer just to be safe,
  10. 1) CJ and Josh 2) Matt Wallis 3) Jamesy 4) Mark Newman +1
  11. Stuart What do you think about the stock block, on the drag . did you have any problems regarding the strenth of the whole engine. even when you installed the nos kit. If im going to enter the HKS drag next season . And I have only a stock block , with cams ,and single, with about 700 Bhp , and a shot of Nos for launch. In your experance do you think a stock lump will do the season, or is it a tall order .
  12. We will be able to see if a stock lump will take 700 bhp and run the HKS drag series with a shot of nos , as that is what I will be doing next year. I hope that it will hold together ,and if not I my have a built engine next. But what I have seen of built engines they only last about the same time as a stock. And cost about 5 x more.
  13. I think that you will not get any change from £15000.00 to start with, and hopefully that will be that. But all I no is , as I just gone single, It will be more then that in the end. When You start adding all the little things just to make the car drive nice. eg more mapping, maybe a new exhaust, to get more power, or just to be Quite, around town. new gauges, and we know how much they are, that is a easy £800.00 with out fitting. and then you got wheels and tyres ,you will need at least 285 on the rears , and that is £300.00 upwards , and then you got wheel arch rolling. And when you done all that, and the car is running at about 700 bhp. You might think about Fitting Nos , and thats about £1500 fitted , and before you know it you have hit that £20.000.00 . But you will have a cracking car , and you will have great fun in it. just remember if you need to sale it . you will only see half your money back. That is the biggest joke.
