The customer should know from the instructions that he cannot slip the clutch for prolonged periods, 3 seconds max You would not slip a clutch more than 2 sec on a strip anyway .

So it means dump the clutch , thats no good for drag racing , just bog on the line,

well I have the triple HKS in for now, untill I get this sorted I will get it back from dude on friday and then go from there.

these clutches are not good for drag racing as they dont like any slip, the metal plates warp easy. So when they say you have to use half clutch , to warm the clutch up befors a launch ,thats a no no then, because half clutch is slipping the clutch . So what we don't warm it up then .

so if all on this forum said get a Vauxhall , you would get one .?

Thats sounds like a plan, could you send me a pic of what you done, when we refit it again , I will do that mod as well, thanks for that. that is why I think that the spacer should be fitted ,to give it more throw.

yes it is right down to the floor and will not go into gear properly, and will not go into reverse untill I turn the engine off and start the car in reverse. and now the plates inside are bent ,

I never had that problem welding it self together ,I did not think that carbon could do that. has your clutch got a spacer on the bearing sleeve.

You need a spacer with this clutch. Im sure of it . But paul want let me have one . that is why this clutch don't work. My clutch has done about 1000 miles , and been refitted 3 times Paul ones, and Dude twice, and now it looks like a big papper weight.. What to do now any idears Paul.
