You can get a H-Registration. H stands for historical. The car has to be in mint condition and OEM expect of contemporary tuning (parts +10 years from first registration are allowed). So body kits, wheels, single turbo etc. should be possible. Therefore, the yearly tax is less with the H-registration, you can get an oldtimer insurance (also cheaper) and you are allowed to enter the emission restricted zones again. Maybe a bit hard to explain. But it's like worth to protect as a (car-)cultural good.

I don't think anybody will let a turbo supra go for less then 30K, if money is not needed urgently. The UK used to be a nice market for us in germany, since the prices were way lower than over here. I got mine from London. But since the UK is not in the EU anymore, we'd have to pay import tax, what destroys the prices completly. I got mine (TT/AT) up for sale in germany for 50K €. Maybe a bit overpriced - a realistic price would be around 40K €. But considering it will get the historical registration (30 years old) next year, I think prices will go a bit more. Seems like everybody in germany is waiting on the 30 year mark. I hardly got any inquiry for mine. One guy from switzerland would be willing to pay the asked 50K, when he's able to do a testride in march. My supe is only registrated from March to October - that's why he has to wait. But honestly, I don't think, I'll sell it. Not even for 50K. I'm dead sure, it'll be a one way ticket. Damn, I don't even think, I'll sell, if somebody would lay down 60K.

Had it on my black NA. It not even are 1cm. So not really worth it. I think they more to get a nice line from the sideskirts to the back bumper.

Had a couple of small accidents. But the last one, I had alowsider sliding on the road and hit the curb edge with my head forwards. My spine got compressed and vertebrae 4 to 6 collapsed. Doctor said, I should be sitting in a wheelchair or should be laying in a coffin. I should be very thankful. Since that happened, l started to take things 10% easier on the bike. It still took me three years to ride, without being scared to crash every second.

I had my Supra before I got my first bike. By now, I got a ZX6R, had a GSXR1000 K1, got a Ducati Diavel, XJR1300 Cafe Racer with 130HP, and 2 FJ1200 aaaand a Supra that is hardly driven cause it does not give the thrill a bike does. Not even a little bit. Had one bad accident on my GSXR. But still love the bikes.

That! Since I started riding bikes, I don't really use the sup anymore. It's just a better kick on bikes... By now, I don't even want to work on a car anymore. Bikes are much more fun to rebuild or modify. And way cheaper. For dinner bikes in the garage. One totally rebuild 31 year old FJ1200 and a XJR1300 Cafe Racer. An a new project. Sup done like 1500 km the last three years.

Yep running BPU. But was BPU looong before the seal failed.

I had the same problem with this seal. Just changed the seal, not the whole pump. Running with no problem for 4k miles since I got the new seal in.

So glad we don't have that problem in Germany yet. I live not too far away from the black forest, where we can still go fast with our bikes and cars. And the section control with avg speed cams is not legal here so far, I if remember right. Feel sorry for you

Will the HIDs fit LHD glass headlights?

Last year I was at the point as you. Did not use it a lot, it was in the way, cause I wanted a third motorcycle in the garage etc. Just was not sure if I'd miss it a lot. Ended up keeping it and all the love is back now. Can't wait until the winter is over. Don't sell. You'll regret it. Every supra owner who sold his, regrets it.

Try RHD Speedmaster in Germany. He's specialized in registrating imported cars in Germany and should have documents for the supra. If not, he should also be able to get it from TÜV Süd.

My friend Marc is looking for a 2JZ-GTE Engine. Best would be a complete one with fuel-rail, injectors, inlet manifold, turbos, harness, ... But if there's nothing available, he would buy one without the parts. Since he's from germany: either shipped or he'll come and pick it up. Thanks!

I had mine removed at the local wheel dealer. Took 5 mins. Since that, I don't use lock nuts anymore. They're pointless, if you can undo them in 5 mins. And if sombody wants to steal your wheels and is unable to undo the lock nuts, he might cause even more damage.

If I, as a german, have no cat and get cought, I'm in BIG trouble. Since we pay our taxes by the emission class our car has and a catless car decreases this class, I'd be paiing to less tax. So that's considered to be tax dodging. If you do that with your UK-reged car as a non german, that shouldn't be a problem - I think.

What's the point of being catless, if you got to use a Restictor Ring on the J-Spec twins. I dumped the RR and am using a 100CPI cat instead, since I need a cat in germany anyways. All with a 2,5'' down- and midpipe.

I've been at the public race days at the Hockenheimring last weekend and parked on the infield. Next to my Supra was a Porsche Boxter or whatever and on the other side a white Audi S3 totally stock. I just left the car there. After a while, I went back to get something out of it. When I walked away, there were some german dudes walking by - they didn't notice it was my Supra - and I heard them: "Whooooohaaaaa!!! LOOK AT THIS. INSANSE! What a beautiful car! Unbelievable how nice these S3's are!!!" WHAT?
