  1. They obviously did not test drive the vehicle, after carrying out the work which you should always do.
  2. Toyoat done the work, if so give it a few days if it does not improve take the car back. I have never had this problem on any pads I have fitted tbh.
  3. Did the pads not come with a shim stuck to them? Also did you change the pads due to them being oddly warn. If you have badly scorn disks or warped disks then your pads are going to be destroyed in the exact same way, also were your slides free and not stuck in position, and are you sure your callipers are not seizing?on.
  4. Im game for showing people how to do jobs on their car. Im used to teaching apprentices, i'm good for mechanics, fault finding. electrics and so on. If its at the pod though I'm out due to funds.
  5. They don't pass mot's, you have to have a hand brake tha tholds it self.
  6. Can not beat the shine, and even nicer with a bit of glass polish too lol
  7. Whats the reason for a hydraulic handbrake?
  8. You can always cut it down, rather than have a large rectangular sticker lol
  9. I did the only thing I could think of with mine! Replaced them with glass units (ooh shiny)
  10. TBH, courier firms tend to refuse shipment if the item is not properly packaged, For damage like that they would have to have been submitted to some extremely rough handling, I would say this is down to seller and courier.
  11. Doesn't the lacquer discolour with the heat from the lights?
  12. Do explain, as I have a notion that people respect the vehicle more when in a club, or just scared sh**less that they will get a horde of members hunting them down lol.
  13. The thing I find funny is when people as what the sticker is in my quarter-light. I always assumed it was a case of self explanatory, but obviously not. On a couple of occasions now I have said its a ford owners club, and then had to explain that I was joking

  17. Right being a certified toad alarm installer this is a easy one. Depending on the model of alarm, you may have a separate alarm module or a compact system which has it all built into the power sounder. The way to tell is if it has a plug on the sounder which means its a compact system. Locate the alarm module (black box with toad written on it). It will have a large plug with the main wires going into it. You will need to trace back from this loom and you will see where the fitter has spliced into the loom. It will be linked to the fuel relay, management relay more than likely. If they have done a tidy job they will have spliced in in different locations, this is just a case of following the wires back. Once you have traced it back its a matter of cutting the alarm wires off 1 at a time and re linking the original wires. The wires will match in colour code so straight forward. The other plugs into the alarm module will be for the ultrasonic sensors , these just unplug. The wires going into the engine bay will be for the power sounder, bonnet switch, and possibly the power supply if there is a fused wire. If you have any questions just PM me. Gareth
  18. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=223663 I live in newport lol.
  19. The sump gasket is easy enough fella, Process for doing this is as follows. car up on axle stands or ramp. Drain the oil. You will need to remove the sub frame braces, 1 on each side. Support the engine from above. Use a engine hoist or a engine support, you can rent these items. Now locate the sub frame. Remove the bolts for the engine mounts. Remove the bolts for the subframe. Remove the subframe. You can now get at the sump. The sump splits in two, once the first part is off, you will have a plate to remove and then you will see the bolts that hold the second piece to the block.
  20. Its funny that with the amount of welsh members that they never seem to attend the welsh meets, and the chance for a local track day.
