Right then guys, I have just been asked if there would be any interest from members on here for a rolling road day. It will be at Got Boost in Bridgend on the 27th of March. They have invited members on here along due to us inviting them to our trackday last year. Would be good to have a few supras along on the day. The day will be held at Got boosts new mainline dyno cell in Bridgend, initial reports though are that many people have been disappointed by the brutal truth of a realistic reading this setup can provide. Everyone likes big figures but if they are not accurate then you just look like a knob when you put your figures up online and everyone tells you your dreaming (as happens way to often on this forum lol) We will be limiting the numbers to 20 cars due to the time taken to properly setup the cars, if the interest is good then another day can be arranged. You will be getting the basic power run which consists of 2 back to back runs with AFR logging, You will be given a customer printout showing Power and TQ at the wheels, along with AFR ( air fuel ratio or lambda ) and a boost log for each run. Customers will then be given advice on what improvements can be made. The cell is brand new and will accept the lowest of cars so no need to worry about getting on the rollers Anyway the cost... A £10 non refundable deposit will be required ASAP to secure the date and this will then be deducted from the cost of the run payable on the day. For one session on the rollers the cost is £35. These are well worth the value, I know of a few cars running these and not had a problem.

Are you in the fuse box under the dash in the driverside kick panel? It will show it in the lid.

Its a straight forward unplug, unplumb. Split the exhaust and pull her up and out.

if you are handy with tools, you can get in done in a day easily.

Also do not forget to remove the selector cradle as this will catch, as I have seen this done a few times.

Was the type of person who reused brake fluid, and engine coolant and scavenge parts of customers cars to repair others, done it to a mates car so we dealt with it.

Don't rush it, and have someone there to help you out

If the mechanics as dodgy as you think, not wanting to concern you but we had one fool down here re using the HG. Needless to say he is out of business now.

I know the feeling mate, me and craig are repairing screw ups by mechanics all the time.

On the human error side of things I meant on rebuild. Like you said not bleeding the system fully.

Any idea how the valves bent, if it was due to a foreign object then it might have damaged something else, or it could be down to human error

Get a sniff test done on the cooling system, this will give an indication if you have a HG problem

Don't say you went for leather seats.

Damon if you want a manual conversion we are going to need the car for more than a day mate, as its not a job we will rush also you will need to get a manual transmission tunnel plate from mrT as it will need to be welded in place of the auto section that we need to cut out. Or you can see about a second hand one but personally I would get a new one as iirc come in at around £60-£70

Its a 50/50 job fella, it could damage the paint and could not. My advise is be careful and do not get impatient and just pull them off.
