  1. As for weight saving, the only things done on craigs car are , stripped rear interior, sound deadening, light weight seats, air con has been removed as well. The only interior in the car is the door cards, dash, and centre console.
  2. Trying to find the funds for tax at the moment guys, if I get it I will be there
  3. To make them base mount you simply weld 2 bars across and drill holes
  4. Get your self to a trackday and enjoy tearing around track mate.
  5. Still got my head fried after a nights rest how it could just go, was cool to watch it go though. One minute its fine then the top just disintegrated, lower went down level while the legs went outwards. Its the kind of thing you wished happened when you had a camera filming. Scared the life out of the cat which I had to wrestle into my arms while it ripped me apart asi was fighting to get the window open to get him out the house.
  6. I had a motoria one off ebay, could not fault it. Checked it against Craig's toyo sport one and they were identicle.
  7. Some interesting stuff in that link, especially the part about the stainless steel causing problems. This had metal inserts in the glass that the fittings fixed into. From now on im only buying non metal furniture.
  8. Yes it was and it was done tight enough to hold, and not over tightened.
  9. The table was around 4-5 months old. Was from The Range, was £390 for the table alone. As for safety glass most of it went in to pieces but there was quite a lot of what looked like knife blades, which was actually the edge of the glass which did not shatter, even when hit when I was cleaning up. I will be going down to them tomorrow with 2 buckets full of glass, 4 legs and images of the damage to the floor and wall. Worst part is in some of the pics you can see a red basket style box in the right of the images, this had crystal glasses and ornaments belong to my mums late mother which have been smashed, no way of replacing them either.
  10. A right nightmare, was looking into the room and it just went, you can see how it fell as the legs just went from under it and all ended up pointing outwards.
  11. Right then guys, If any one has bought a dining table from the Range that is made from black glass with another sheet suspended from the top level, with alloy round legs, please be careful. I have just spent the last hour and half cleaning up smashed glass. With out warning I watched as it collapsed on itself. Not only that, it has gouged the fresh wallpaper I hung 3 days ago, and where the lower panel fell and did not shatter , the 4 threaded bars that attach it to the top part have left for deep marks in the laminate flooring. Please keep an eye out if you have one of the tables, thank god my little nephew was not here as he is always playing in the dining room.
  12. Talk to dr Jekyll as he has built one and we are entering it in the TSS this year and problem free at that. If you are near Cardiff feel free to pop down for a chat
  13. I agree with what your saying, lets wait and see what John says. If he can do it then thats a bonus for the members
  14. This is not a offer. I have a mate that makes low seat mounts for the s bodies which look pretty much the same and he charges £70 for a pair, so £150 does seem steep to me personally.
  15. Could have just meant he could make them for half that price, in my books that makes sense. Now if he says yes I will make them at that price for the members then that's plain and simple.
  16. May have meant he can make them for less than that.
  17. May be an idea to ask him if he is interested in fabricating them up first
  18. Flat bar is cheap enough to buy and then I recently got 3 metres of the stuff, 2" by 6mm and that cost me less than £40.
  19. Lol, thought I had spelt it wrong, wet and windy all the way.
  20. May have been Chris, whar alloy style was it if it was multi spoke with black centres and polished lip, thats him.
  21. Nice to see another member in this, make sure you come and say hi at rockingham mate. Will be there with the team TSC car.
