Right i'v now decided to change the colour on my mk4 but heard to many different things off too many people so thought i'd ask the clever people lol, Rsp supras i'v seen seem to have a pearlesent look to it, now thats fair enough but i was told today that the car is actually wearing a violet basecoat and thats where the colour change comes from, the code for the paint is 8L5 i believe, but is there any others things the bodyshop should know to get the best finish for example base coat and laquer or have i been told a load of rubish by someone. Any help would be much apprciated from all members.

Right here we go, i'v spoke to a couple of people now and all its done is made me take a firm hold of the fench that i'm sat on. I'm looking at a n/a-TT conversion but was wondering if my n/a manual box would put up with the new engine. I'm guessing that its going to need a new clutch to stick the new figures of the engine, so if anyone can shed some light on this it would be great, thanks Gareth

Just fitted a new set of lights to the car and theres a projector style lense that doesn't light up. Am i correct in thinking its the fog lights (spot lights). My cars a j-spec but it seems to be wired to the same loom for the sidelights but don't come on with them.

TRD spoilers the best out there imo, and the trial rear bumper has to be the best looking around im not one for spats sorry.

any motor factors will sell it but its a nightmare to wrk with as its so thick be intresting to see how you get on with it as i'm working on mine now

also forgot a subtle boot install thats not over the top

how bout some new style spats or a bumper mask (add-on), as this isn't a whole bumber but uses the original bumber but gives the impression its not

Have you tried going to a roofing supplies company as thats where i get mine from and you choose the thickness and the size of the sheeting. I take it you bought the fibre glass pack from a auto supplies shop. When doing your install use course fibre firt then use fine to do the finishing layers, you can also get a product called "fibrefill" its basically like a bodyfiller but it has glass fibre strands in it.

nice to know that when some thing happens to you that people clear as day say your full of it. why would i want to lie bout something it don't get you anywhere but then again it just goes to show how someone says crap just to try and be clever.
