Not sure about if they are lacquered but they may very well be as they have spider webbed in parts so I would say so. Looks like its a case of a load of elbow grease then.

Right then, its time to refurb the alloys and was wondering what ways the members have done this. I have 3 piece split rims with a painted face and polished lips and dish. The problem I have is that the dish and lip are heavily corroded. What would be the best way to bring these back to life. Is there a type of product that can be painted on and remove the corrosion. The plan is to repaint the faces gun metal and then get the mop out to polish the dish and lip back, then get a hard wearing lacquer on the polished parts. Any advise would be welcome.

Quite possible that they are FG but will normally have some sort of marking on them, veilside have a little badge, doluck has the company logo branded on it etc.

Wasn't too bad mate, only thing that could be classed as messy was someone being carried like he was superman flying up the main road avoiding a car lol. But that was later in the night and only bradburry so was ok if it went wrong, he is usually the one used for stunts.
