been talking with him and convinced him now to put the crx in the garage and get the GT back on the road. I had a look over it and all that is needed is four new shocks as they are shot, and seats as he sold the interior to get parts for the crx. The seats aint a problem as iv told him he can have the cobra buckets collecting dust in my garage, and as for the rear interior that can get a sheet of ply covered in acoustic carpet and he can leave the back stripped out. Will be talking to this bloke who wanted the race later on and telling him straight that he aint racing a race that is just to take the piss out of rhys for no reason. Problem with rhys is hes easily lead and if people are egging him on he just agrees,

the stupid thing is that sat in his garage is an ep82 starlet gt, all that is wrong with it is the gearbox is dead but i have found a box for £75, yet he thinks that he can get the crx faster than the starlet. If he was to put the money towards this instead I could build him a quick car as its a tidy base car in the first place.

Thats what im thinking. Although i was looking around on the internet earlier, and found some nice looking throttle bodies, and Hks cams, if he wants to keep his car hes going to have to think about making this crx as light as possible and ploughing alot of cash into the car.

more like how stupid I swear he has rocks in his head, to even put a car up for a race yet alone racing this way. The crx was never meant to be raced and to top it all off he has only been driving for less than a year, and i have been in a car with him and 5 mins later told him if he didnt take me back to get my supra i was going to kill him. I dont scare easy in a car and he has made me, never wanting to get back in a car with him again.

cheers for the advice i tried telling him today to swap out the engine or to fit a turbo but its like talking to a brick wall. I can see this ending with him loosing his car.
