Same here, I would have to cut out and weld in, Then grind the welds back. then i would filler it and spray it using a iron oxide primer lol

Same here, If I had a chance to prepare that means a better future for when the inevitable happens.

In that case cut it out and just weld a plate over it and scholtz it. Job done.

The way I would do it would be cut it out and make a piece the size of the hole and weld it in place. Or you could cut it out and just patch over depending on what finish you want. Could you fit a grinder in at it.

How big is the patch and is it close to any seams or is it central to a panel
