  1. if the wheels hot there is a good chance you have a caliper sticking, I recently had this problem. Also if you get the vibration while driving at a certain speed and it goes when going faster but returns when dropping back down to the previous speed, its more than likely you need to have the wheels balanced. I found that with my sticking caliper this also produced the vibration.
  2. If its at the front leading edge, and up the wing adjust the rubbers on the slam panel.
  3. lol, I normally drink monster, but they didn't have any so Sam got me it instead. Knew I should have just threw it away
  4. nope didn't get the other jobs done. Had a alternator delivered this morning and DHL decided the were going to be kind and smash the plug and internal pic up which I thought was kind of them and then I just got pissed off and will be stripping down the TB to clean it out and de coke the ICV at in the next few days.
  5. Too right, no more drinks in the car now, it was hell of a job and awkward and found out that the supras electric seat is alot more complicated than other cars pretty interesting to see how it all works lol
  6. Well I woke up this morning ready to do some work on the supra. On opening the door to the supra to go up to my garage I look into the car in confusion. The thing causing this was that my seat was completely horizontal and I did not leave it this way lol. Also when opening the door a nice smell of burnt electrics greeted me. When trying the switches the recline did not work and the seat would only move forward, Still not thinking straight I kept paying with the switch moving the seat forward in morbid curiosity. Pretty stupid thing to do when it does not move back So the mission begins, to find out what caused this and to drive the car 2 miles in this position and to top it off up some nice steep hills. First of all trying to drive a supra while six foot two and cramped up into the dash while holding myself in a tight sit up is not good. Also pulling off and going up hills is a killer when driving like this. After speaking to Keron and getting some sound advice, it was time to get to work. Now this would be easy you would all think. Then the first problem struck, how the hell to strip the seat while its still bolted in as the mounting bolts for the seat are tucked away and in unable to be got to. So out came the quarter mm spanner and screwdriver bit. Once the covers were off I was able to get at the motor on the seat to wind it back with a 12mm socket and ratchet. One thing to mark of the list. next was not so easy as winding back the seats movement was easy, now the recline was not so easy. After swearing a bit and a fag plan B came into action, two lengths of wire and by pass the switch by short the motor. Job done the seats now in the correct position. Now came the time to find out what caused it. Removing the switch from the seat the problem become clear. The day before numb nut ie, Me forgot that I had put a can of relentless down the side of my seat, and when getting out of the car I had pushed it into the controls and they punctured the can. Realizing this I immediately started to clean it up and then Licking my wounds went into the house. Now over night the energy drink got to work slowly shorting out the switch which must have lowered the seat bit by bit as my alarm did not go off. thus leaving me to find the seat as I did this morning. The switch once stripped was in no fit condition to be repaired as it had melted all the plastic internals and burnt the contact points away. I am extremly lucky that I have a supra left as this could easily have ended worse and leaving me with, charred remains resembling a supra. So just a word of warning be careful if you have an electric seat as there is a constant live feed to the seats and if you do something dumb like me or forget to close your window and it rains you may end up in the position I was in so please take my mistake as a warning. Gareth (numb nuts)
  7. Very hungry caterpillar was re-released my sis bought it for the baby, had trouble getting it as it was in such high demand lol
  8. one more for the list Should I be worried? - YES!
  9. if its an n/a the skirts have been added imo, and not a very neat job.
  10. the plugs are located near the battery under the light mate. depending on model it will have 1 or 2. mine had one and it just unscrews. Can you hear the fuel pump kick in when you turn the ignition on. If you can't its more than likely the relay, the other symptom of this is cutting out while driving and not re starting till a time later.
  11. any news yet mate, need to know when to build the cars lol
  12. She will not part with it bill, believe me lol.
  13. on my plasma i have all different settings, gamer basically alters the settings and actually without you noticing it moves the image on screen a minute amount so that the image is not stuck in one place constantly reducing screen burn, which all companies dont tell you "is not covered in any warranty".
  14. no not the xbox, lol the tv will have a game mode which basically stops screen burn and alters all the settings lol
  15. well done benyon you will be loving the quality of gaming now, and stratty Bring it on lol
  16. The cause of this is that where the plugs are they are open to the elements, and over time the plugs start to corrode and on some occasions short out. They are a nightmare to remove and replace. So many wires in a small confined plug.
  17. the main problem these plugs cause mainly are rad fan not working and power steering, on the odd occasion it does cause a problem with the cs sensor.
  18. get a strong set of maul grips on it. Make sure they are the right grip though.
