Imo, you are correct but the slam panel isn't really going to offer much support in a crash, as the part he has cut is only bolted in place iirc, and he has welded on a replacement. True he should have a sva test done after doing the work but it aint going to cause much of a difference.

Good point. Dave, Not saying members cant be trusted but your bound to get the odd one or two try it on by saying they were fine when sent.

Seeing as the quality of work you do is to a high standard you could do something along the lines of the following; Customer pays a deposit for receiving a basic loan panel kit. £60 This is returned at the end of loan. While they have that you do the work on their panels, once they are done you ring them tell them they are done, they send payment and loan panels back, you send their panels out to them. Once you receive the loan panels back check for damage if they are as sent out, you give back the deposit.

Just out of interest, i was just thinking of a problem you may come across. The luggs on the gear surrounds are prone to snapping, and if you supply the panels un damaged and someone sends you theirs back with no luggs, thats going to cause you problems.

lol, They need it by the sound of things. Like said above Lee, independent assessment and then see if you can go along the lines of trading standards, Also im sure they could do with a visit from the ministry. If they are bodging cars like this the Ministry will catch them out and then they are in no end of shit.

Im with Gav on this. Don't loose heart too quickly. Get some legal advice, also do a bit of digging and see if you can find someone else who has had problems with the company. You may find out there are a few unhappy people out there. But just dont give up mate.
