  1. Try using a tar remover, that should shift it fella.
  2. Few images of why he has a new engine, and I have to say he has done all this on his driveway, he does not have garage facilities hes a god in the colt world.
  3. The car is running the complete evo system, last time we spoke he was just finishing off the ayc on it, I was going the easier routeof, evo 6 conversion. Once the front panel is replaced for the evo's the wings lights bonnet and bumpers fit straight on. Doing this gives you an extra 6" room for ancillaries and manifold. Also the evo's engine drops in on the same engine mounts, trans tunnel is already there. At the rear end you cut the boot floor out and weld in the evo's, diff then bolts straight in and then its fitting of the brakes. My projecy went out the window as some twat sold me a tidy shell, but once stripped right back there was chassis damage linking to the firewall.
  4. Glad to see he has it back on the road after the mishap on track where his timing belt lost all its teeth resulting in destruction. Hes the chap who was giving me info on the evo6 powered colt I was building. Hes from somerset way iirc.
  5. thats impressive and their prices seem ok aswell.
  6. is it wise renting bikes? I'v had to maintain rental cars. Burnt out brakes, tyres and cluthces.
  7. Rent a bike, you may get a load of seedy old men ringing up though, quite possible Edd too lol
  8. yeah its an aircraft engine lol
  9. the blue car is definitely shine auto
  10. they are classing the oem skirts and spats as trd. plus there is no rear apron on the car.
  11. All you need to remember is that if fg cracks or you loose a chunk it can be repaired very easily.
  12. just as it fg does not mean its fake fella, fg is an easy material to use thats why its common on kits.
  13. nothing appears for me! Now it is lol.
  14. Its fg it can be fixed easy but you dont have to worry about this repair
  15. Cant see a problem with taking it apart mate, iv stripped them before to clean them out
  16. look for a scrap one , and replace the top section mate.
  17. In the last pic you can see where the stock bumper was held on, see if you can feel captive nuts in the bumper at that location on the bumper. If so its a case of fitting some 10mm bolts in place with washers. If you look at the plastic inner arch you will see a plastic fastner on it in picture 1. this should line up with holes on the bumper and self tappers with washers hold this part in place.
  18. is it a genuine or replica bumper. reason for asking is if it is genuine it should bolt in place in the same location of the stock bumper. If its replica it could have any means of fixings.
  19. £100 to turn off the lights, I think i will just use my hand to do it. Its not exactly hard work to twist a stalk lol
  20. Yes they will fit, but you will have to get different bulbs for them mate. I have a set on mine, Only difference really is that you will have the plug for electric light adjustment left disconnected.
