Not so sure on the cheaper insurance thing, Some companies will not insure the n/a at all. Also its cheaper for me to insure a TT6 than a n/a.

saying that though I had this problem with my ps3 and it was 2 years over warranty, all I did was let sam talk to them after a few minutes of yelling they did a 24hr swap with a new console and gave me a extra years warranty all for free.

Should have took your serial number as a precaution mate, you never now with these people if they are sending yours back to you.
