One very happy Royals fan here. I thought the lads had forgotten how to win since the new year. It's going to be a nervous few weeks between now and the end of the season. Crunch games against Fulham, Birmingham, Wigan and Newcastle still to come.

I had a Mk1 MR2 before I had my Supra, terrific car but the rust eventually beat it so definately going for a Mk2 this time. Does anyone know when the cambelt should be changed on these? I am thinking of going to see a Rev3 with 65k miles on it at the weekend. The guy tells me that it has a slight problem with the handbrake sticking on. Also does anyone know how much it costs to have a new clutch fitted (garage prices) in case it needs one?

I sold my beautiful Twin Turbo Supra in November and brought a big old Lexus LS400 to replace it. Unfortunately I am just not happy with the Lexus. It's quiet, well built, eats speed bumps but it's too soft for me and really does not like going around corners at anything above 50mph. So I'm looking at MK2 MR2 Turbo's to get something that's fun to drive again. I know that several Supra owners seem to have graduated from MR2 turbo's so can anyone advise me what potential problems I need to look for before I start looking. Also can anyone advise what they are like regarding running costs, insurance etc compared to a Twin Turbo Supra?

This car has now sold, many thanks for those that showed an interest.

---Too cheap Dave. Probably gonna scare people into thinmking there's something wrong.--- To be honest that was my worry that people would think that it was cheap for a reason. The price is very much down to needing to sell and the time of the year. If I was selling next spring and could wait a few weeks before selling it I would be advertising it for £6k+ and would still know that it was worth the money. So at 5K someone will be getting a bargain and I will (hopefully) be getting the money I need to buy the other car quickly. I just need to get people along to see it to appreciate how good it is and to prove that it is worth the money.

Okay, I have just realised that I have mistakenly shown the car as an SZ. The car is definately a twin turbo (i believe that it is probably an RZ). The car has cloth front seats abd the imitation leather rear seats which if I remeber correctly means it is an RZ. Unfortunately I appear to be unable to edit the initial details of the advert so can one of the Mods change it from an SZ for me.

Sorry, I'm not interested in any swaps or P\ex's as I have already put a deposit down on another car and need the money from the Supra to close the deal.

I have decided to put my J-Spec Auto TT Supra up for sale having earlier today put down a deposit on another car. The car is in extremely good condition both mechanically and bodywise. I have owned the car for 5 years and I am the only UK owner to date. When I brought the car into the country the car had done 52,000 miles and now shows 86,000 on the clock. The condition of the bodywork can only be described as stunning. The car has passed its MOT this week with no notes or warnings. When I first brought the car the only modifications were a NUR-Spec exhaust (with baffle) and an aftermarket air filter. I have since returned the air filter to standard. During it's time with me the car has had it's oil changed every 6 months and been given a full service every year. I still have every receipt and document for every piece of work done on this car since I purchased it. During the summer the car was fitted with a complete set of Goodyears. Also during the summer it was given a full service at Phoenix in Watford while also having the rocker cover gasket replaced. Also during the summer I fitted a new Intercooler and radiator (I broke the old radiator by accident). The car drives perfectly and many other Supra owners who have driven the car have commented on how solid and well sorted the car feels. During my ownership the car has been fitted with RLTC, uprated fuel pump,an Apexi SAFC II and a set of 18" Oz racing wheels plus I have had one of the Cat's removed. It has also been fitted with an excellent Alpine\Audison Hi-Fi system at a cost of £3k (it was professionally fited). The full set up will be sold with the car. The system is set up for Audiophile listening and does not consist of lots of bass speakers. I realise trying to sell the car at this relatively low price for a TT is going to upset a few owners but I am after a quick sale and the time of the year is not a good one for selling. The ridiculously low price in no way reflects the condition of the car and whoever buys this car at this price is getting an absolute bargain. This car has been cleaned every week (and sometimes twice a week) since I have owned it. My reason for selling is that I am having to do a lot more travelling as part of my job and I want something a bit more relaxing for long journeys (I think I may be getting old). I have attached some photo's of the car, more are available if required but the car really should be seen to be fully appreciated. I really do need to sell as quckly as possible so if anyone is interested please PM or if you know anyone who may be interested please provide them with the details.

Greenday were probably the best live band I have seen and the Damned were probably the loudest. The only bands left that I really want to see are probably U2, Faithless and the Chemical Brothers.

Removed my baffle last night and drove into work today without it. The car definately feels livelier and sounded absolutely wonderful (I had forgotten how good it sounds without the baffle). Unfortunately the wonderful sound of the exhaust was being spoilt by the nagging sound coming from the passenger seat so I expect that the baffle will be going back in over the weekend.

I've had the baffle in my NUR Spec for a couple of years now. The car definately feels a little more sluggish to drive so it would not surprise me if I was losing some power by using it. It does quieten the car down a lot and I have been thinking of removing it again recently but I think I am likely to get complaints from the wife.

Don't worry, the power boost valve is going soon (I've had a few problems with it in the past as well). I plan on going back to the OEM fuel regulator. It doesn't sound as if there is much to gain at this stage in going to bigger injectors (I don't intend to go single) and the cost of the e-manage seems quite high for the benefits that I would gain with a standard set up. Thanks for your advice on this guys, I think it has helped me make a decision.

The uprated ECU is just a Mines ECU. When I first had the power boost valve, fuel pump and SAFC II fitted and had also purchased TRL FCD to have fitted. When I collected the car they gave the FCD back to me saying that I didn't need it as I already had an uprated ECU. On further investigation since then I have found the ECU with the Mines plaque on the cover.

I have a J-Spec TT auto which currenty has an uprated fuel pump, FSE Power Boost Valve and an Apexi SAFC II. I have also fitted a new SMIC and radiator to the car during the summer. The car is approaching 75k miles, I have had it almost 5 years now and I use it everyday. I want to improve the performance a little without going as far as single turbo conversations or having hybrids fitted. The first thing on my list is to replace the FSE valve however while I am having this done I was considering fhaving larger injectors fitted (I am currently still running the std 440cc injectors). If I was to do this, would I be able to control the larger injectors using the SAFC II or would I need to invest in something like E-Manage?

I recently started looking after a new account in the area that is based close to a rough part of the town. I had been parking in the company car park for about a week and decided to ask for an official parking pass before someone started to complain about me pinching someone elses space. When they gave me the pass they asked for my registration. The facilities manager turned round and said "Oh so that's your car is it. I was going to get that clamped the other day because we thought the local drugs dealer had started using our car park". I was not pleased.
