  1. Best of luck Graham. It requires serious clangers to take life by the scruff o' the neck and make changes like that. Wish I had them. As far as I know my wife's friend has some sort of flat/house in Montpelier available to rent. If that is indeed the case, and you ever want me to look into it further for you just ask and I'll pass on any information I can.
  2. It must be, I managed it! I thought the non vvti was supposed to be easier to tune and tougher built, but I may mistaken.
  3. The Weds? Still have them. Always will with my p1ss-poor sales technique! Yeah a 1JZ is the smart option, especially in Ireland, seeing it costs less to tax. I wouldn't know much about the newer lumps but hit me up anytime for a chat on whatever you think I might be able to help you with.
  4. Feck sake, last time I was talking to you was at the Cystic Fibrosis charity track day. You were buried in Al's headlights, trying to get the HID's working as I recall! Good to hear you mended well man.
  5. Should have a good one here if you're prepared to spend a little extra getting it to you.
  6. I joined just as there was a big hulla-baloo about new games being added, so I was always partial to, but never any good at, a game of Curve ball. Have a couple of high scores on the Soarer owner's club, but never managed to break into the top scores in this club.
  7. £160 delivered to your door mate.
  8. Hey Jake. Mine are still available. I did spend a good deal of time on the inserts and the carcasses and reflectors in the lights are very good. I just delined the covers with a small sander and a few different grades of paper. I needed functioning lights for time attack and mine were beyond miserable looking so this was enough to satisfy me and the scrutinisers. They could be brought to a much higher standard just by doing a little more with the covers. I can get you more pictures if required.
  9. Ah. I couldn't honestly tell you what the car had originally. When I swapped engine I made one working alternator out of two and then when that let go I bought a replacement to match the dead 'original' I genuinely thought there was two plug types, which is why I always ask the potential buyer to check theirs first before I'll sell mine. Thanks for the heads-up Keron.
  10. Have one here with no more than 2 hours use on it since new Kris. Could you confirm that yours has the round type plug at the back?
  11. Wear well Ellis, that's some bus.
  12. I did it with a couple of tee pieces and some fittings on the track car. Now, it wasn't exactly tidy looking, I just bent and/or cut the OE pipes where I needed to. But if you wanted to make it look like it was meant to be I do believe a particular replacement OE brake pipe from a non abs Supra, plus a few fittings, leaves the delete looking factory. But my humble effort never gave me any bother. FWIW anywhere capable of replacing brake lines for MOTs & such should be capable of at least sorting the plumbing end of it.
  13. I have the vents, bolts, rubber cooling ducts and the retaining brackets (that hold the ducts in place & are located inside the side skirt opening) all available and in A1 condition. Let me know what you want from that lot and I'll get a shipped price for you, if you want it.
  14. Again, not a problem. Clausz, you're in the driver's seat now mate. If you really want them let me know.
  15. If Spunkmeyer doesn't want them then they're yours Clausz.
  16. That's ok mate. It's over to you now Spunky.
  17. Well, they cost me £100 before shipping. They're twice that on eBay these days. So how does £100 shipped sound?
  18. I'll still post pics of the actual items, but I've just figured out how to post pics from old threads while on the phone. So here is a taster of what the covers look like when fitted.
  19. No worries dude. It'll be Monday afternoon before I'll have a chance to get some pictures for you.
  20. These definitely clear UK brakes. They aren't black though. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?336357-WedsSport-SA-67R
  21. Welcome to the brotherhood foggy. Been on the road about six months myself and it was the best idea I've had so far. Watch out for rear wheel lockups on sharp downchanges. I've had a couple of moments where I wasn't paying enough attention to the revs on the v twin while using the gobs of engine braking available and the rear came out for a giggle. That was on dry roads. Parallel twins are supposed to be even more prone to this behaviour. It's not unpleasant but I can't imagine that it's as big a hoot on a wet road. But whatever you do have fun dude.
