    scam ?

Yep. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?327022-SCAMMED!-What-do-I-do-next I learned a lesson that day.
  2. That was and still is the plan. There isn't much left to be honest, a few odds & ends that I'll list in a new thread. Can a mod please close this thread when you get the chance. Thank you.
  3. That's good of you dude, I appreciate it.
  4. Well...... I found a complete (open) diff for sale at a breakers in Illinois. I rang the owner and asked him if he'd be prepared to split the diff and remove the crownwheel and pinion for shipping (to New York) if I bought the complete diff and paid for his time to dismantle it. He agreed and shipped the parts to an address that a mate of mine gave me. He was going to be in NewYork a few weeks later, visiting relatives, and said he'd bring the diff parts home in his luggage for me. So it wasn't exactly straightforward but things worth doing rarely are! I rebuilt my TorSen diff with the new ratio and then, a couple of years later, swapped to a Cusco 1.5 way LSD while retaining the same 4.3:1 gearing. Oh, and if you hear of anyone else looking for a perfect set of dump pipes let me know. These are the real deal, hand built in Australia and had been fitted to what was eventually to become my 1JZ for a while before the previous owner broke the Soarer. I bought the engine but the pipes were already gone to another buyer. Then I spotted them advertised on Soarerworld and jumped on them.
  5. I eventually swapped to a 1JZ and R154 in my track car. Was well impressed with the capabilities of both. I also ran the 4.3 diff ratio from a USDM Soarer NA for even more acceleration. It limited the top speed of the Supra to about 155mph, but for my local track it was perfect. The car has since been parted out but I still have a nice set of Ozzy dump pipes for the 1JZ stock twins available, which replace the restrictive exhaust elbow. With only this upgrade in place my otherwise stock engine saw a 30bhp increase at 5,500rpm and standard (0.7bar) boost. The time to fit them is certainly while the engine is out of the bay as access to the turbo system is pretty limited otherwise.
  6. Nothing to do with being honest Tommy. I'm as straight as they come but I still couldn't do a rear brake swap in an hour and be satisfied I'd done the job properly.
  7. You should open a garage Tommy. You be quite popular. You'd also be absolutely broke, but popular nonetheless.
  8. Yeah, I thought I could Ric, but I can't seem to find that option in the advanced edit window on my phone, even when viewing the full site as opposed to the mobile view. I'll have a crack at it again tomorrow in work on the desktop.
  9. These wheels are now sold. Could a mod please mark as such? Thanks.
  10. I know Swampy, I've mixed feeling about parting with them to be honest. Never got to fit them to the Supra. They been looked at and drooled over plenty of times, but a road car just cannot take the place of my Navara at this stage and the bikes are scratching the need for speed itch quite well. Can you believe it though, since first posting in this thread there is now a distinct possibility that the Weds will be on their way to France by Monday/Tuesday of next week. They're advertised on Driftworks and there was a week-old enquiry waiting for me there when I checked in this afternoon.
  11. I have: One set of standard 16" Supra wheels. (16 x 8, front & 16 x 9, rear). No centre caps and would need tyres. These rims will only fit a Supra with the small brake option. One set of Ultralite GTII wheels with tyres (18 x 8.75 front with 255/35 tyres & 18 x 9.75 rear with 285/30 tyres). Three tyres (Federal 959RS/R) in very condition, one front tyre would require changing. These rims are a straight fit to a Supra with either of the factory brake options. One set of WedsSport SA-67R wheels. Now sold. All of the above wheels are in excellent physical condition. There are no cracks, buckles or repairs present on ANY of the wheels I have offered you.
  12. Sorry about the delay in getting back to you bud. Do you still need more info on my ECU or did you get sorted since?
  13. Because it's non-interference, and to avoid potential breakdowns, I don't even run a cam belt.
  14. And another five years she'll be in the other seat!
  15. Love it! The exhaust wasn't even warm and the next upgrade was already decided upon! Fair dues JP, you know what you want & that's all there is to it.
  16. Thanks JP. It's a bit of a dinosaur in terms of modern bikes. There's no traction control, or ABS even! But I honestly don't think there is a better looking bike. Unfortunately, for my income, there are more trick bits available for them than even the Supra can boast of. So there are a few small bits already on the way and, when I get some miles under my belt, I'm sure the urge to upgrade won't be too hard to give in to. In fact, there is an old-time mkivsupra.net member with one of the best ZRX1200R builds ever that I've been speaking to on the ZRXOC. So much attention to detail and one-off parts, that he either made or designed from scratch himself. He still has the Supra too by the way.
  17. Well I still have and love the SV, such a fun little bike to throw a leg over and attempt to shatter all the windows in the vicinity! However, I added another horse to the stable. This time it was a bucket-list bike, that came along at the real wrong time, but at the real right price (when compared to everything I'd seen so far!). Still haven't gotten around to taking a picture myself, these are from the original advert. It's a 2007 Kawasaki ZRX1200R. One Irish owner from new. Only used for European trips, never saw a wet Irish road and, by the looks of it, the previous owner wasn't exaggerating. Saw a "gauging interest" post by a friend of the owner on Facebook a few weeks ago and three days later I had it bought and sitting in a trailer outside my house. I am, most definitely, a happy camper!
  18. Have a look at the wheels on offer in my sig
  19. I have these if you're interested? Fronts would protrude by 10mm, but they certainly clear big brakes and it wouldn't take much to roll the arches to suit. They are the perfect stock body size/offset for the rear. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?336357-WedsSport-SA-67R Shipping wouldn't be an issue either.
  20. Thought it was ridiculous. I hadn't watched it since the first episode with Evans and judging by what I saw tonight I haven't missed anything.
  21. But that's the easy way! Stand out. Be a leader. Not a follower.
