  1. It is possible, in some situations, I expect. But, never having done it, I couldn't say anymore than that.
  2. It's an illegal tax levied against the Irish population by the Irish government despite them being ordered by the EU to abolish it. It basically adds a third to the cost of any new or imported car. They then charge VAT on the VRT. It pays to continue forcing us to cough up as the fines imposed by the EU pale in comparison to the revenue collected. Add another €1,800 annual motor tax on a car like the Supra or about €2,500 on anything performance orientated registered after 2008, plus 80% duty and 23% VAT on all road fuel and you start to get a picture of how the Irish motorist is viewed as a major source of revenue to keep wasters in benefits. Don't think for a second that anything collected in motoring based taxation is used to improve motoring in Ireland.
  3. Here is how my Rex is sitting right now. Not a lot done to it, as it didn't want for anything in the past really. So bloody happy with this thing.
  4. I've the polybushes, if you need them dude. Brand new.

    Am i mad ?

Good on ya Dnk! Did you sustain an injury that would rule out a conventional bike altogether or are you just of a mind to make it a real cruiser?

    Am i mad ?

Two wheels good. Simple as. I've a couple of twist n' go options (Honda CN250 'Helix' scoots)myself to put a bit of work into, just for the sheer hell of it. I'll probably(hopefully) sell the best, most complete, two and keep the third as some sorta stripped down, knobbly tyred shopping cart for pissing around town on.
  7. I'd have to hazard a guess at it being an earth fault or at least and incorrect connection. Are you sure you don't have the positive and negative wires for the lights on the top box wired to both feeds for the back light AND the brake light? That would explain why all lights work until the brake light circuit is energised.
  8. I may be misleading you a bit on the foam. There is a protector on each side, R/H: 76873-14061 & L/H: 76874-14061, but they're not sticky as such, they just bond with the panels and can tear. I think mine had a few bits of adhesive padding added to the feet, by a previous owner, for whatever reason. The two locators I mentioned (76879-14040) are listed as clips, so bear that in mind too when trying to free the spoiler.
  9. Not being funny, but that's a bad sign to begin with. There are two 10mm nuts, either side, accessed from within the bootlid panel. There is a locator either side as well, but I don't think they are a clip of any sort. The foam pad between the spoiler and the bootlid might put up a bit of a fight when separating the two.
  10. Wiring continues in through the floor on the driver's side. There is a connector under the carpet.
  11. If you're craving them I can send a few pictures by email either mate!
  12. No worries mate! It was bought brand new from a local supplier and the reason for the small amount of use is because it was fitted to my Time Attack/track car which only had two sessions left to do in the championship. After the end of the season I broke the car. If you pm me your number I'll WhatsApp you some pictures right now or I'll update the thread tomorrow when sat in front of a desktop.
  13. A better wiring option might be something like this, the correct connectors at both ends, ready to use. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F291242401610
  14. I've an alternator with two hours of use on it since being bought new. It has the round-type, three pin socket, but I have a new plug with tails to suit, so there'd be no need to alter the car's wiring at all. £120, delivered.
  15. Unpacked? That's not an indictment of Paisley by the way. I've used them before with no issue. But I wouldn't expect to see pristine rims from any of them, if transported bare. I'd tell the seller to work them up his hole to be honest.
  16. Yeah, that was a fair kick in the nads to get alright. I recall that last year an LMP2 car almost took the top step of the podium. Bit of a hollow victory for Toyota in 2018, if all they had for competition was who........ Rebellion? LMP1 seems to be a bit of a dead duck, no?
  17. I have one with a small amount of damage to the left side/corner/edge and a couple of extra holes. If you are interested in knowing more PM me your number and I will WhatsApp you a few pictures.
  18. Are Porsche no longer in LMP1?
  19. One here Ger. You're welcome to it if you wanna take a spin up for it and the boot panel. Or I can send it down to you, no problem. Don't have the pipework though.
  20. Certainly mate. Speak to you soon.
  21. I almost certainly have these in very good condition. If you can bear with me until tomorrow and I'll confirm their condition?
