  1. nice Supra and very nice Volk GT-S wheels. i had the same wheels on mine, just different color.
  2. i pm'ed Tyson, and he said he would look into it. im pretty sure when i registered i paid for 10 years access. but thats 10 years ago, i could be mixing something up. i couldnt find emails from that time, so i wouldnt be able to find out. i could upgrade if thats the case.
  3. hello, i would like to renew my membership. when i registered back in 2008 i paid for a 10 year membership. if possible i want it renewed, or i want to know how to upgrade to lifetime membership. i can only pm moderators but so far i havent had any luck since trying back in May.
  4. Three-way just means it does 3 tasks. removing CO, HC and NOx. more to read here if interested: https://www.open.edu/openlearn/ocw/mod/oucontent/view.php?printable=1&id=2492
  5. hey, i am researching some stuff related to getting late model Supras. is the j-spec cats a 3-way regulated catalytic converters? are they the same on US, EU or UK specs? are they same for all years (1993 to 2002)? according to the manual for a 1997 US-spec, both cats is 3-way in US-specs. i am assuming they are 3-way, but assuming is different from knowing

i have seen it on a danish car forum earlier this year. https://www.bilgalleri.dk/galleri/242882-toyota_supra_mk_iv_ opinions are unsurprisingly mixed. from what i can tell from the comments, he wanted like 186.000£ for it in 2015. someone also pointed out there is very limited buyers for a car like that. sure the work that went into it is something, but personally i just dont like the style.
  7. check out the steering wheels for Celicas and MR-S's from 1999- and later. they are similar looking, and should be a lot cheaper. example: http://jdmengineland.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=4507
  8. i saw it on their web site, it looks super nice. i saw it listed to 40000£, but did you negotiate the price if you gave 38000£? as for mods, dont do too much, just whatever looks clean. Supras dont need body kits and 600hp to be a Supra.
  9. they cant be that much of jap specialists if they cant even tell thats not an original front bumper. but yeah the indicators looks the same as the MR2 indicators. wouldnt surprise me to use parts across different models.
  10. looks very nice and clean. i dont think you should add a TRD spoiler, i think it works better when you have some sort of aftermarket rear skirt or bumper. TRD spoiler and stock rear bumper/skirt doesnt look right to me. personally i think facelift rearlights, headlights, and front indicators would look better. it makes it look much fresher.
  11. there was never made a facelift dashboard version for the left hand drive Supras, so there it not really anything special about that. i like the prefacelift dashboard better than the facelift. but yes, the NA VVTI was only available in USA. at least i have never seen or heard of an NA VVTI j-spec.
  12. only in the US. and there is no difference to other Supras really. they also have a SE (Special Edition) of the NA Supras in USA, and probably it hasnt really any differences either. just sales tactics, they love it over there
  13. yeah thats what im thinking. just sent an email to Torque-GT.
  14. i dont have to buy right now, but within the next 12 months would be good. but waiting too much longer wouldnt be so smart as the prices are just going up and good Supras are getting harder to find. the white Supra they have at torque-gt right now looks great, just not the color im after.
  15. nice, must be pretty cool to have your car in a magazine
  16. hello. since no one is importing cars from Japan here in Denmark anymore, im looking at some imports over in UK, should i need to buy in Japan. but i could need some help getting a clear picture. found these and general feedback is positive, but do any of you have used them? jm-imports.co.uk torque-gt.co.uk harlow-jap-autos.co.uk
  17. interesting, havent seen this before. is this at the Toyota museum in Japan?
  18. i could see people buying whole engines just for tuner projects, no matter if it is a Supra or something else.
  19. great looking Supra, and the interior looks so clean. pretty nice video too, i dont like when people go over the top with editing effects.
  20. door interiors i could imagine. but really, any parts you would need to keep it look and run good. i wonder is stock bumpers/sideskirts/rear spoilers hard to get?
  21. thanks, really no reason to skip a VVTI then. now i just hope i can find the right one for me.
  22. hi guys, im looking into buying an Supra twin turbo, but have some questions. im focusing on the facelift models, but i dont know if i should avoid the VVTI's and strictly look for a regular 2JZ-GTE. i know the VVTI gives some extra torque, improved turbo spool and improved fuel efficiency. sounds good. i would like some kind of tune up to around 400-450 hp some time later. so is there any reasons to avoid the VVTI? i have heard Toyotas VVTI engines are on the realiable side, but is that correct for the 2JZ-GTE VVTI? is spare parts harder to get for the VVTI than the regular 2JZ-GTE? is the VVTI more expensive to maintain? i heard someone say engine response feels a little slower on the VVTI, is this correct? is tuning a problem/more limited options? other/any things to watch out for? inputs is appreciated.
  23. hey there, im from Denmark too
