  1. I would get a 75 shot of nitrous on an NA. Prob the cheapest way of getting power for when you need it.
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1mfIg1I3zE
  3. Must have been one fugly mutt. No comment on your gran. Christmas classic!
  4. WTF is that? Looks like Spike from Gremlins trying to blow himself.
  5. I have my dog with me most of time so have an Alfa as my daily dog car. Supra is for weekends or week night boredom.
  6. Hythe. And you? - - - Updated - - - Puppies always go a long way to pleasing my gay nature. You're forgiven.
  7. Now now... you're gona hurt my feelings over here.
  8. Plan to go BPU, but for the time being I just prefer the manual driving experience.
  9. Silver autos FTW ... although I'll be going 6sp next year.
  10. There's only one way to solve this guys... come on down to Soton on Friday.
  11. Whoever can do the Southampton meet just add your name down and we can finalise the list. 1. Big Supes 2.
  12. Cool. Hopefully everyone else will be good for then. Any suggestions for where in Soton and time? ... and... pics sound good.
  13. Ok... I'll be around this Friday or Saturday in Southampton or within a 30 mile radius of there. Would definitely be good to put a Bluewater convoy in the diary for another time.
  14. Basingstoke? Loads of A roads, roundabouts and big car parks for nattering.
  15. Definitely up for it dude. Is it a monthly thing?
  16. What if we moved the meet to Saturday night? Failing that the four remaining peeps could just do the Friday in Southampton and we'll all tie up in the near future? I'm well up for Bluewater at some point though.
  17. Not pointing the finger at anyone here, but there's definitely a bandwagon... it's generally acceptable to hammer anything Microsoft does. People just can't seem to get their head around the 'optional' metro interface. It's all about the bigger picture - the "3 screens" vision. MS want to bring a seamless experience across all devices - phone, tablet and PC. In order for this to happen, they all need to share the same kernel and, in the case of non-touch PC's: give users the option to install apps purchased/used on their phone and tablet, as well. What makes me laugh is that MS would be slammed if they didn't offer the metro UI to non-touch PC users. Damned if you do - damned if you don't...
  18. Are we saying Friday 1st in Southampton?? Are you going to be ok with that Ben?
  19. Think I'll watch Family Guy in bed and check the results tomorrow. I'm pretty easy... like the idea of meeting up and convoying up to Bluewater Friday, but can also work around others...
  20. Right. I honestly can't stand McAfee or Norton. Without attempting to disable it temporarily myself in Win 8, I can't really comment. I would have thought the option should have been within the settings of the application itself rather than attempting to kill the task through the task manager (it would have safe guards against being force closed). Regarding the control panel, you're not the first person who has struggled to find it. The one thing you get used to in Win 8 is the search and pin function. Search is universal and works a treat no matter what app you're running or whether you're in desktop mode. I have my control panel pinned to the metro home screen as well as any other tools I used frequently. I am currently upgrading to 8.1 and I know they've expanded on the UI even further, bringing back the start button. I appreciate what you're saying, but my Win 8 machine doesn't have McAfee. HP decided they would go with Norton. I honestly don't understand what the fuss is with the tiles. If you don't like them, simply tap desktop and forget they exist. I'm merely talking about the general user experience. I've been used.
