  3. Lovely colour... welcome to the club mate.
  4. Thanks mate. It took around an hour to decide where to mount the thing. Pretty happy with the location... it's easy to access when driving and I didn't have to botched the dash when running the harness. I have to admit... the look was definitely a factor. Have never been a fan of the VHF-like Profec B Spec II and wanted something minimalistic yet fully functional. Cheers Dan. Well chuffed with the springs mate. It's not low-low, but kinda gives it a up-to-date stock stance. Thanks buddy.
  5. Thanks Baldy, will give them a shout. No probs Lee.
  6. Cheers Jake. We're slowly getting there. Yes, loving the bpu. Its just about right for me at the moment so I've decided to ditch the single plans for this year and just enjoy the stages. Thanks mate. I bought it at the end of October with 90k on the clock. It's reading 93k now. The service book has been stamped religiously since birth which is always nice.
  7. Looking to get my stock turbo wheels banded and was wondering if anyone could recommend somewhere to have the work done? Cheers.
  8. No worries mate. The fun starts now!
  9. You'll always have vacuum on idle. Sounds about right, but someone should know exactly what it should be.
  10. Jobs ticked off the list: Full BPU. 30mm suspension drop. Sort dash illumination issue - 10amp fuses keep blowing. Replace rad cap, bleed water coolant and investigate why the expansion tank return pipe is blowing air into the tank, pressurising the tank. Replace boost hoses. New facelift rear lights. Looking rather pleased with himself, I think...
  11. Shouldn't be too hard. Don't forget the filter whilst you're there.
  12. There's a large grommet with ample space to the left of the bulk head. You can't miss it. Just push it through from the engine side and pick it up under the steering wheel.

  14. Great meet yesterday, thanks for organising Dave. Some lovely Supras and it was nice to meet everyone. Bring on the next one!
  15. Car is clean and sat in the garage... fingers crossed for tomorrow!
  16. Don't need to change it for BPU on UK specs. If you want to replace the original, Toyota is your friend.
  17. That's correct mate. You won't need it for the decat and exhaust. You only need it if you're going to exceed 1.1 bar of boost.
  18. Just wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram for the UK spec stereo harness? After struggling to get the right ISO plug, I pulled out the snips and chopped the plug off. Managed to find a permanent 12v and the switched 12v supply, but for some reason, every time I turn the headlights on it blows the dash illumination fuse. I've checked behind the dash for exposed/fouling wires, but everything looks ok. It must be down to the wiring of the stereo. Maybe it's on the wrong feed? Who knows... the stereo doesn't turn off when the fuse blows so it would be nice to see a diagram to clarify. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  19. New rad cap sorted it. Cheers guys.
  20. Yes, this. Recommend peeps put the new ones back on with some ally slip.
  21. Don't worry... you'll understand when you're past 30. I won't bullshit you though... it's a big ask getting a modified Supra for a first car. You'll either need DEEP pockets for insurance money or a very open-minded older friend, parent or someone who is willing to transfer their full-no-claims bonus onto the car and have you as a named driver. That's what I did when I bought my XR3i at 15 years old and stripped it, rebuilt the engine and painted it so it was ready to drive when I passed my test. It took the insurance down from £3k to £700. That's my advice anyway. You have time on your side so think it through properly. Nice Civic, BTW.
  22. Good luck Bart. You remind me of a young Big Supes... with BIG plans at 15. All the best kid.
  23. Trans tunnel, flywheel, clutch, ecu, gear knob, pedal, clocks and any other bits will push up to nearer 4k.
